Charlie looked around the ruined gator golf, he saw a door, but it refused to open no matter how hard he pulled.
"Well darn, how do I open this Helpi?" Charlie asked, "You must deactivate the child nodes, and then the security nodes." Helpi replied.
"You will need to put on the mask to see them." Helpi added.
Charlie looked around for sometting he could defend himself with, he found a metal pipe, and picked it up.
"I doubt that will do much damage." Helpi said, "Eh, at least it's better than holding off an alligator's jaws with my bare hands." Charlie said.
Charlie put on the Vanni mask, and looked around for the 'child nodes'
"Hey uh, what do the child nodes look like?" Charlie asked, "Try looking for objects that have a red outline." Helpi suggested.
Charlie discovered a barrel with a red outline and deactivated it.
"Ugh, I have a feeling these nodes will be a pain later." Charlie said.
"It seems that the way forward is now open, however you must deactivate one more node for that door to open." Helpi said.
Charlie sighed and walked down the stairs, he came across a node that resembled Monty's face, and another that resembled a chica plush.
"Alright, nodes are deactivated." Charlie said, however, just as he turned around, he saw a figure...
This figure looked almost like Vanny, except it was much more masculine, intimidating, and seemed to float above the ground...
Charlie felt tense upon seeing him, he decided to do something that is probably very stupid.
"Hey! Who are you?!" Charlie asked, the figure looked directly at him, smiling, Charlie blinked and he seemed to get closer, Charlie backed away slowly, but the figure kept advancing towards him.
Soon, it was directly in front of him, Charlie heard scurrying...
"Superstar! That thing is bringing Monty to your location!" Freddy's voice said.
"Gah!" Charlie quickly removed the Vanny mask, but he heard scurrying...
Then, he heard a series of growls and roars...
"M-monty?!" Charlie said as he saw Monty slowly crawling towards him, He backed away, before pointing the pipe at him.
"St-stay away! I'll hit you with this!" Charlie said, trying to scare the Monty away, the broken gator simply stared at the pipe, before crawling faster towards Charlie, "Th-that's it! I warned you!" Charlie said before running at Monty, and striking him with the pipe.
Monty stood there, slightly dazed.
He regained his senses and glared at Charlie, he roared loudly before lunging at him again.
Charlie yelled as he shoved the pipe into Monty's mouth, he seemed to be gagging and biting down on it, as if he was choking, Charlie took this opportunity to run away.
"The door is open superstar!" Freddy said.
Charlie could feel himself growing frustrated, whatever this Freddy thing was, by deactivating the nodes, he was only giving him what he wanted...
Charlie had been through hell and back, he lost his parents, he hadn't talked to a normal human in so long, and Roxy was the only one he could trust...
He felt anger, frustration, and fear.
"Rrrghhh, Shut up! I know you aren't Freddy, so leave me alone!" Charlie yelled.
"Roar! Grahhh! Blugh!" Monty said, he had noticed Charlie again, and was barking and roaring like an animal.
Charlie turned and ran, through the door, into the kitchen.
He heard pounding on a door near him, he assumed Monty was attempting to break through it.
As he continued running, he suddenly passed a large gate, Monty lunged at it, but was unable to make it through, however, Charlie was startled by it and slammed against the wall...
"Gah!" He said as he saw Monty savagely gnawing on the bars.
Then, he heard a loud bark, Monty looked around, confused, before he turned and saw Roxy standing behind him, he roared at her, however, he stared at her for a few seconds, and stopped, almost as if he realized who she was, Monty looked down almost apologetically, Charlie slowly stepped towards Monty, "Be careful Charlie!" Roxy said, "I know, just, let me try." Charlie said as he grabbed Monty's face, Monty no longer seemed as aggressive as he once was, he moved his mouth, but all that came out was growling noises, but it almost sounded like he was saying "S-s-sorry."
"It's okay Monty, I'm sorry too, I didn't mean to hurt you." Charlie said with a smile.
Monty suddenly grabbed Charlie's hand, and stared right into his eyes.
"D-dangerous! You must... leave!" Monty said.
"No, we need to help Chica, and Freddy." Charlie said, "Don't... trust... mimic." Monty said, his speech was very distorted and hard to understand.
"Mimic? What's a mimic?" Roxy asked, "Freddy, down, but, too late... Monster, got... him." Monty said, "Monty, your broken, but me and Roxy can help you, we need to get you to parts and service so we can fix you, do you know where that is?" Charlie asked, "Daycare... go... daycare..." Monty said.
"The daycare? What the heck will we find there?" Roxy asked, "Wait, the daycare attendant! We forgot about him!" Charlie said, "Wait, look around Charlie, if you go to the daycare the moon will kill you!" Roxy said, "But... maybe we can help him, remember when I was in parts and service? I removed the virus from him, maybe moon is nice now." Charlie said.
"Sun, moon... together, then... you... fix... me..." Monty said.
"I can't tell what he's saying anymore." Roxy said, "I think he wants us to go to the sun and the Moon." Charlie said, "But their both the same thing?" Roxy replied.
"Alright, Monty, don't worry, we'll fix you buddy, I promise." Charlie said as he walked over to Monty, and embraced him, Monty smiled, and returned Charlie's hug.
"Heh, and you went all savage on us earlier." Roxy said with a laugh, "He probably didn't know who we were, but he's calm now." Charlie said.
"Alright, let's get to the daycare." Charlie said.
"Hey, where'd you get that mask?" Roxy asked, she pointed at the vanny mask, "It looks a lot like that bunny lady." She added.
"One of the staff-bots gave it to me, I can use it to go through some areas, it's almost like your eyes." Charlie explained, "Hm." Roxy said.
"I don't trust it, but maybe if we go deeper in, we'll be able to save everyone." Charlie said.
"Alright then, lead the way, Charlie." Roxy said..
That wasn't the first time he heard those words.
He failed to save everyone last time, he fled like a coward, but that was the past, he has another chance.
