Prologue

I woke up to the bus leaving my house.

I'm late I'm late I'm late I'm late I'm LAAAAAATE.

What a wonderful day to be late.

I checked my phone to find three texts from Tony. "Get up! You're late!" He told me. Thanks Tony.

I got ready hurriedly, putting on clothes and brushing my hair. I rushed my makeup so it didn't look as good as normal days, but whatever.

I grabbed a banana from the kitchen and dragged my backpack behind me.

I ran outside to find Tony on his phone in his car. Awwww, thanks for waiting Tonybear. I rushed into the car and he stepped on the gas. It was 8:05.

"Why didn't you come in to wake me up?" I asked him. "I didn't want to barge in," he explained. "I thought your parents were sleeping." "You know they don't care."

We pulled up to the school and parked. As soon as the car was stopped, I jumped out of the car with Tony and ran towards the school doors. Before I rushed to English, first period, he pecked me on the lips and ran to his first period, Math.

As soon as I got to the classroom, I walked in quietly to find the class still not settled. I was relieved and found Jaime, who was saving a seat for me. I sat next to him and whispered to him quietly, "Thanks." He nodded and hugged me.

I noticed next to Jaime were two new boys.
