I stared at these new boys.

They drew my curiosity in.

Class began, but I wasn't listening. I opened up my sketchbook and started sketching the first boy. They both had long hair, but this one was shorter and his hair was lighter. He had a smaller nose and more defined lips. They're eyes were both dark brown. He was a beautiful creature.

The bell rang before I could start on the other taller boy.

I got to second period, Science. We were studying the human body. And being as mature as high school kids are, we all laughed when "penis" was brought up.

I noticed that the shorter one went to a different class, but the tall one came to Science. He looked at me and winked. Winked. Ha, no.

I forgot that Tony had this period with me, and was startled when he sat down next to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I smiled. "Did you see the new boys?" He asked me. I nodded. "I better make it clear that you're mine." I laughed and leaned into him. He wrapped his arms around me.

When class started, Mrs. Romo decided to start us off with the reproduction system. Of course, they're were giggles and laughs. Tony just looked at me and wiggled his eyebrows. I playfully hit his arm and laughed.

After that boring class was Nutrition. I went to my locker to retrieve the books I needed for the periods after Nutrition, History and Health.

The tall boy came up to me. He handed me a CD. "This is my band's new album, and you look like you listen to good music," he told me. How did I look like I listened to good music? I looked at the cover. "Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti Before Today" it read. I nodded and shoved it into my backpack. "My brother and I are in the band with some cool dudes. You should come to one of our gigs." I nodded and thanked him. We made deep eye contact for a minute. Tony came up behind me. "Hey, who's this?" He said, pointing to the new tall boy. Mike looked embarrassed and vulnerable. "I'm Mike," he told us, but mostly Tony. "Oh hey, I'm Tony," he introduced himself, "Carter's boyfriend." Oh, alright Tony. "Nice to meet you guys." I felt bad for poor Mike who was so awkward. I thanked him for the album and promised to listen to it; it actually really made me anxious and curious.

I could tell Tony was kinda pissed that he found me alone talking to this new boy. He wouldn't make eye contact with me and when my hand brushed up against his, he pulled his away.

I sat with Jaime and Tony. Jaime was talking about how the smaller new kid seemed cool. "He didn't talk much," he said, "but of course Mr. Juarez made him talk about himself; his name is Vincent, or Victor, or something like that, and he's in a band!" He slammed the table in excitement. "That is amazing! Maybe if we become his friends we can go to his shows or whatever and if he get famous-" "Jaime shut up!" Tony exclaimed. Jaime looked a little hurt and started eating his lunch slowly. I looked at him sympathetically and rubbed his back. He smiled adorably like a little kid. "What's with you?" Jaime said. Tony sighed. "I'm sorry," he apologized. "I'm just not into them."

The majority of lunch was silent.

Next period was History, where I found the smaller new kid sitting in the back. I sat two seats away from him. He was writing stuff down in his notebook; words. Lots of them. Scattered all over the place. After a while, he tore the paper out and crumpled it in frustration. He threw it on the floor, near my feet. I pulled it towards me and unfolded it.

We call for all of those in need of hope
We call for all those to say
This is the day
So tell me how can
You shake hands with a clenched fist
And tell me how can
You bullet the blue sky

So how long
How long does it take
For offers to be made, long

That was it. Less than I thought there was. But it was still deep and heart touching. I wondered what made him feel this way.

I looked up to find him writing- drawing something. Something beautiful. A girl. She kind of looked like- he was drawing me. Like I drew him. It was a weird coincidence that I chuckled about. He looked at me with flushed cheeks and wide, beautiful eyes. I felt bad instantly and looked away. I could hear the scribbles of the shading of his pencil.

History was boring, as usual. I just watched him detail my face. Was my jawline really that defined? We're my eyes really that big? Did my eyelashes really have that much volume?

Class was over and I headed to Health. He left to another class, but I had this class with Tony again, and Jaime. He smiled and grasped my hand and led me to a table with Jaime already sitting. He smiled at both of us. I saw the tall boy, Mike, and he smiled at me. I smiled back, noticing his actually really nice smile. I could almost feel Tony glare at him from behind me, because Mike looked embarrassed again and looked away. I turned around and eyed Tony. He shrugged like it was nothing. Jaime was so lost and looking at us back and forth. I laughed.

Jaime and Tony joked about how stupid Mike looked. "You guys are so rude," I hissed. They rolled their eyes and kept joking. "His hair is weird," Tony commented. Jaime nodded in agreement. "Ugh, look at his tank top. I bought that like two year ago." That was stupid. I scoffed and took out my book. While these retards made stupid jokes, I thought about sitting somewhere else. I didn't really wanna be around these losers if they were gonna make fun of somebody like Mike, because Mike seemed awesome.

I picked up all my stuff and sat with this weird kid in our class, Gerard. He sat with another boy, Frank. They were two of a kind, and they were always touching. Like, it wasn't always holding hands or hugging; sometimes one of them would stroke the other's arm or tug on his backpack. It was kinda cute, but they didn't talk much.

They looked surprised to see me sit with them. "Carter S-Santos?" Frank choked out. I smiled and nodded. "You don't mind if I sit here, right?' I asked. They both shook their heads.

Class was boring, but I noticed that Gerard was a magnificent artist in the form of drawing. And Frank was always looking over Gerard's shoulder. He seemed to be sketching a woman. A woman wearing a gas mask and a funky dress. It was awesome.

After class, I grabbed all my homework from my locker and headed to Tony's locker, where I found him talking to Hayley Williams, the captain of the cheerleading team and the bitchiest bitch in Bitchlandia. She was all over him. I walked over there and tapped Tony on the shoulder. He looked at me with big, holy-shit-I-gotta-move eyes. Hayley was pissed and tried to grab his attention. "Tony, about that party?" she told him, clutching his arm. He shook his head. "Sorry, can't," he denied her. She gaped and looked at me. I smirked and headed off with Tony to his car.

Tony drove us to In-N-Out and we grabbed some burgers. Afterwards, he just took me home.
