While on the drive there, Springtrap was thinking about his actions that night. He kind of regretted it. They eventually got to Deliah's house.

Deliah: I haven't seen this place in...Gosh, I don't even remember.
Springtrap: 3 months.
Deliah: Oh.

They proceeded to get out of the car and walk inside. As they did, he took the opportunity to apologize to Deliah.

Springtrap: Sweetie?
Deliah: Hmm?
Springtrap: I know I did a really bad thing, but I just wanna say that I'm REALLY sorry.
Deliah: I know you didn't mean it, Springtrap. You were just scared and acted before thinking.

Springtrap looked down at the ground in guilt.

Deliah: Listen, I can't forgive you, but I can at least give you a second chance.
Springtrap: What do you mean by that?
Deliah: What I mean is that you have to not kill anyone again.
Springtrap: I'm not sure I can do that.
Deliah: I know you can, Springtrap! I'll even help you! We can get through this together, as friends!
Springtrap: ...Ok. I will try my best.
Deliah: I know you will!
