F1 house

Holiday time!

Okay so for this chapter there are only going to be the drivers that are back from holiday, I'm not sure of it completly but they've either not posted anything, posted something f1-related (like the gym or so) or they've written bio's about going back to work (all the "research" was on instagram).

It was a lot more quiet than usual, seeing that most drivers were away. Lando, Yuki, Kimi and Sebastian decided not to go anywhere while George, Lance and Logan were all back already trying to get ready for the second half of the season. The weather was quite nice so Kimi and Sebastian were getting the barbeque ready while Logan was out getting some hamburgers, because according to him, one for each person wasn't enough. 

George, Lando and Yuki were meanwhile in the pool, talking, well more gossiping. "Okay so Logan and Oscar, Valtteri and Lewis, you and Alex, Zhou and Nyck and Kimi and Sebastian are dating for sure." Lando said to George. "Well me and Alex aren't like official but we are together in a way I guess?" He replied sounding unsure of himself." "You're not official? Come on man, get your shit together and ask him." "You have nothing to say with you pining over Carlos." Yuki added laughing. "And you do? what's up with you and Pierre huh?" that quickly shut the Japanese driver up. "There's nothing between me and Pierre." He said after a short while. "Has he said anything?" George and Lando laughed loudly. "You so want him" The tallest said. "I do not!" Yuki said, but his blush gave his lie away. After Lando and George were able to breath again the youngest continued their previous list. "Okay, so that leaves us with Charles, Max, Esteban, Kevin, Daniel, Nico, Fernando and Lance?" He looked at the others to confirm. Yuki answered. "Nico and Kevin are enemies to lovers for sure, Fernando is basically a bitch to everyone except Carlos and Lance and since Carlos only has eyes for Lando I think Lance is a better guess, while Max and Daniel also have the hots for each other." George shook is head. "No way, I don't think Kevin is gay to be honest, I'm sure Daniel and Nico are together and Max and Charles are basically eye fucking eachother the entire time." Lastly Lando spoke up. "As for your other prediction, Yuki, you can ask yourself." he said pointing to the door.

The three of them turned around to see Lance walk out, his hair slighly wet from the shower after working out. He didn't make eye contact with anyone and walked straight to the lounge set, sitting down and scrolling on his phone. Sebastian saw him and walked over. "Hey man, what are you doing." Upon hearing his ex-teammate's voice he quickly switched off his phone and looked up with a smile. "Hey, Nothing much." He said, Sebastian sat next to him. "Someone told me to look out for you." Lance looked at the German. "Listen, I know you were on some sort of social media platform, you do it quite a lot. It's not my place to tell you what you can and can't do, but please stop reading what everyone thinks of you. I'm not the only one who's worried." "Who-" Lance's voice broke a bit so he cleared his throat and started over. "Who told you to look after me?" "Lance, that's not the-" "Who." Lance hated how he sounded at the moment. "He asked me not to tell you, so don't you dare tell him I said it alright?" "Okay." "He means well, but Fernando has seen you in the paddock and he's worried you spend to much time listening to people on the internet who have no idea about who you really are." 

Lando hated himself for eavesdropping on such a private conversation. Sure he knew that people didn't treat Lance all that kind, Lando has also said his fair share of stuff, but he never knew that it had gotten to the point where people had to stop him from being so attached to his phone. At least he thought he knew who Lance was dating. 

"I think you're right Yuki, about Lance and Fernando that is." He said getting back to the others, Yuki smiled wildly.

once Logan had arrived with the food, they sat down at a long table. Logan in conversation with Yuki and George pining over Alex next to him while Kimi and Sebastian were making the food and every once in a while they'd bring new food to the table. Even though Lando loved to hear about whatever George had to say, he didn't really listen this time. He was focussed on Lance, he wasn't talking to anyone, just playing with his food. Lando also noticed that the Canadian had barely eaten anything. 

"Lando!" George said a bit later, all eyes went to him, and he accidentally made eye contact with Lance due to his staring. He quickly turned to George and everyone continued what they were previously doing. "Sorry man, I'm a bit distracted." "It's alright, is everything all good?" George asked, a hint of worry in his voice. Lando started speaking even softer. "Have you noticed how excluded Lance is from basically everything. Also, he is barely eating." "Yeah I guess, but he's never really been that social right? I mean sure it's nice to have a conversation with the guy, but he rarely starts any. As for the eating you're right, he never really eats a lot, he doesn't really take any food ever." Lando hummed and took a bite of his hamburger as George quickly switched the conversation back to Alex, Lando's friend was in deep.

"Lance! can I help with the dishes?" Lando asked. "Yeah of course." He said without looking at Lando. "I'm sorry but I heared your conversation with Sebastian earlier today, are you doing alright?" Lance stood still for a second. "Yeah, uh, you know. People in general aren't really a fan of me." He tried to smile a bit. "Is it always like this?" Lance sighed. "I guess, but Esteban usually distracts me." Lando raised his eyebrows. "Esteban?" "Yeah, wait you don't know we're together?" "No? You are? for how long?" Lance looked at Lando for a second. "We've been together since he got a F1 seat actually." "That long, wow you must really like eachother." Lance blushed. "Yeah, he's great." Lando smiled, how did they miss this, Lance looked so in love when speaking about the Frenchman. "Listen I'm sorry about what I may have said a few years ago, I honestly think you're a good driver, I was young then, I don't not like you" Lando smiled. "I don't not like you either."

Okay I have been wanting to write a Lance chapter forever because I love him so much and I am so happy to finally have done it! I am litteraly just in time to write a holiday chapter as well. I hope some more inspiration for this story comes to me because I'm almost out of ideas, maybe silly season will get a bit more interesting in the next days.
