Biting~ Little!Blitzø, CG!Stolas

~Takes place during: Itty Bitty Imps.
Before chapter 16, after chapter 15.

Things were going well for Blitzø and Stolas.

Communication was good,

They make efforts towards a schedule that worked for them,

They had rules in place,

They even started to hang out and talk as friends out of headspace.

There was only one major issue that Stolas felt needed to be talked about.

Blitzø has a bad habit of biting Stolas...

A lot.

This is usually when Blitzø wants to get Stolas's attention, or when he was upset.

When Blitzø is very young, he has trouble properly communicating with him.

And that is something they're slowly working on...

But sometimes Blitzø bites because he's bored or needs the stimulation.

For times like that, Stolas has a solution.

Blitzø was currently one, sitting on a blanket the floor surrounded by his stuffed animals.

"Blitzø, will you come here, please?" Stolas asks. "I have something for you."

Blitzø tilts his head curiously, then he gets up and walks over to Stolas.

"Do you remember when we talked about biting, little one?" Stolas asks.

Blitzø shakes his head.

"We talked about how it's not nice to bite people." Stolas says.

Blitzø doesn't respond, quickly loosing interest in this conversation.

"Blitzy, look at me please." Stolas says. "Is it okay to bite people?"

"Bi' 'e...No!" Blitzø says happily.

"That's right, darling. We don't bite people. Good job." Stolas says, petting Blitzø's head.

Blitzø smiles proudly at himself, he was good!

"But, do you like to bite?" Stolas asks.

Blitzø doesn't know how to answer that, so he shrugs.

"It's alright if you do, Blitzy." Stolas says. "I'm only asking, you're not in any trouble."

Blitzø nods. "Yea..."

"Alright. I do believe I have a solution for when you wish to bite, my young one."Stolas says. He pulls out a sensory chew toy specifically for imps.

Blitzø looks at it with intrigue, his tail rising as his eyes glow brightly.

"From now on, if you want to bite something, just tell me 'bite' and I will give you one of these to bite. Alright?" Stolas asks.

Blitzø nods. "Mkay."

"Can we try it now?" Stolas asks. "Can you say: Bite?" He asks. When saying this, Stolas uses both his hands to use the ASL (American Sign Language) sign for 'Bite.' That way Blitz knows the sign if he can't say it verbally.

Blitzø mimics the sign, one hand looking like one was biting the other. "Bi'e!"

Stolas smiles and hugs Blitzø, feeling a sense of pride. "Good job, my Blitzy! High five!" Stolas holds his hand up.

Blitzø smiles back and returns the high five.

Stolas hands him the chew toy. "There you are, Blitzy. You can bite on that all you want."

And he does happily. "Dat' oo'." He says.

"You're welcome, my precious darling." Stolas kisses Blitzø's head.

Blitzø bit the toy again like the little gremlin he was, Stolas found it both amusing and enduring.

Stolas wrote in a journal about Blitzø's progress, he was so proud of the little imp!

Since then whenever Blitzø needed something to bite, he asked Stolas for a chew toy.

He forgot a couple times, but he did so well asking afterwards.

Well, until he bit Fizzarolli that one time...

But, that was more to make a point than just needed something to bite.

And, okay he did still bite Stolas sometimes when he was upset or needed attention...

But, he bit less, so Stolas decided it was still a win.
