Note: this chapter is now longer "canon" to the story as I'm redoing it and continuing the story to be better

Narrator: Thor and Goku. These men, born and raised in different lands, who in fact are different in every way, have only one thing in common. They use their naturally immense strength... to vanquish their foes in an all out brawl! On the countless battlefields
they have fought and among the countless foes they have defeated, this was the first time for either of them to meet a foe... who has withstood a blow from them. They're equals! They are perfectly evenly matched!

Heimdal: lThis is a totally unexpected development!

Krillin: You can do it, Goku!

Gohan: Awesome! He's equal to a god!

[Balcony god side]

Zeus: That's not bad for a lowly human, but I think his head is too full of the thought that he's our equal. He's not aware of the true power of Thor.

Thor's guantlets began to shock

Forseti: It's...

-What's that?

-Could this be?

-An electric shock?

Heimdall: Thor's guard was down, but now he has gripped Mjölnir with both hands! He's leaning so far back, he'll lose his balance! No! He hasn't fallen! Is this a stance? What the heck does he think he's doing? He's about to strike.

Forseti: Indeed! Are you about to let loose with it, Thor? Has this become a bore?

Odin: No, I don't believe that's it. Most likely, he now holds a little respect for that human.

Black Crow: Seriously?

White Crow: If he didn't, he sure wouldn't use Thor's Hammer on a mere human!

[Thor Backstory]

Narrator: In ancient times, the land of the gods, Asgard, was surrounded by high walls that protected it from numerous invasions from the land of the giants, Jötunheimr.

The guardian angels were chatting amongst themselves

-This sure is boring.

-Hey! How dare you call your work boring!

-Captain, I became a guardian angel so I could defeat giants, you know.

-I hate just standing watch all the time.

-I'll admit this place is way too peaceful.

-Fools! It is our job as guardian angels to protect this peace!

-You have no battlefield experience, so how dare you act so cocky?

-Like I've said, once there's an actual battle,

-I'll do my job well and properly.

-Me too!

Suddently the ground beneath them began to shake

-Is this an earthquake?

-The enemy is attacking!

-The enemy is attacking! They'll try to overpower us!

Narrator: That year, the frost giants had improved their ability to surprise attack. Sixty-six giants stormed Asgard, a Jötunheimr army, the size of which had never before been seen.

The citizens began to worry

-The giants are attacking!

-Can these walls and gates withstand it?
