Friday, the end of the school week.

To meet with one student, I went to a place where I usually don't go.

After the knock, the door of the student council office opened, and Nagumo appeared behind it, surprise flashed on his face for a moment.

Nagumo and Manabu stared at the screen in surprise.

"Why did he suddenly decide to go to the student council office?" Manabu/Nagumo.

Besides Nagumo, no teachers or other students are visible inside. As Asahina said, he's alone today.

Surely he could not even imagine that I would come to him.

He has a phone in his left hand, he must have looked into it shortly before I arrived.

Even though I was an uninvited guest, Nagumo did not chase me away and let me in.

— I'm sorry.

As soon as the door to the office slammed shut, we were left alone in complete silence.

— I was waiting only because of Nazuna's tearful request, but I didn't even think that you would be the visitor. Do you have something to do with the council?

"Eh? Me?" Asahina asked.

"I wonder why Ayanokoji suddenly needed to come to President Nagumo?" Katsuragi asked.

- no. No business with the council. I'm here on a personal matter, President Nagumo.

After these words, he sat deeper in the chair and put the phone in his hand on the table.

- If so, I can only praise you for daring to show your face to me. You have a lot of courage, don't you, Ayanokoji?

"What has he done already?" Horikita asked.

"Apparently something Nagumo didn't like very much," Ryuen said.

— I guess you're talking about a sports festival. Feeling unwell is considered a valid reason for not showing up, isn't it?

— Don't make me laugh! There are people who saw you perfectly healthy at the Keiaki Mall right the day after the festival.

— Recovered in one day.

— An obvious lie.

— Or the simple truth.

"So there was another sports festival that Ayanokoji-kun missed for health reasons?" Matsushita asked.

"And Miyabi probably wanted to compete with Ayanokoji-kun, but he just didn't come," Asahina said.

"Then that explains why he's acting like this," Kiriyama said.

It was just a little pun, but apparently Nagumo thought it was pointless to indulge her.

— Lies, truth – what difference does it make now. Anyway, will you finally tell me why you came here?

It seems that his obvious dislike is sincere. He doesn't even try to hide the desire to end this conversation as soon as possible and get out of here. However, such an obvious neglect may indicate that he is trying to hide his true intentions.

— Can I sit down? I think the conversation may drag on.

— Your business is not related to me as the president of the student council, you said that yourself, right? So I can refuse?
