A STEP FORWARD

"So, I will keep it short you already saw those big titans out in that forest and how life threatening they can be to our people, right?"
"Yeah, they are so."
"We have been fighting them for ages but they always keep showing up and here we have you who can destroy them in just seconds. So would you like to offer your blood?"
"I do not want to." Y/n said balantly without caring. She do not want to live like that again, endure that pain again. She always wanted to live like a normal child.
"Then it can't be help. If the higher ups had known about this they must have already kill you. We discussed and decided to have your consent first since its your body and we do not know if it can really be helpful to us since we did not cross-checked."

"I too don't know if it can really. I just heard about it."

"So then we will try our best to defend you tomorrow in the court. Words must have been already reach them.
They will try their best to make use of you. But since you don't want that as a human we will defend you."

"Defend me? I don't know what this whole thing about but I think I am in some kind of danger,right?

"Yeah, even if we win. Other desicions make by them what to do to you next is a matter even I can't interfere...but don't worry it will be alright."Erwin said with a look of determination on his face.

"Thanks, I will be more than happy if I can just live peacefully everyday."y/n said tears accumulated in her eyes she was looking down so that Erwin can't see her cry. Better she knew that Erwin already noticed her now shaking body unlike before when she bravely stated her words without a care of the world.

"I will be going then you can take your time" Erwin said as he went out of the room.

He saw Levi standing in the corridor when he saw him Erwin went up to him. "You are good at this things. Emotionally supporting her will only lead to her grow fond of us but do you think she will offer her blood it will take so much time for her to trust us." Levi said as they were walking down the corridors.
"Its better than never its already a miracle that she showed up like that and with a cure for the titans." Erwin said with a smile on his face.
"Its not evil that we are doing I care about our people. Be prepared for tomorrow its will be a hectic day."

Y/N's POV~

Erwin went out of the room look like I wasn't able to hide my sob properly. I am glad that some people are on my side but are do they really meant what they are saying. I would never know I just have to wait for tomorrow and not like I can do anything in here I don't know anything.

After a while I got out of the room. I was roaming in the corridors to lift up my mood. There are so many rooms above my floor. Lets see what they are  oh crap I can't read it what language is this but how was Petra able to read what was written on my back. Of course they know since we say the same language but the writing style is different.
While I was walking lost in my thoughts I stumbled upon someone. The hard chest made me move two steps back revealing it belongs to that MAN.
"Oh, I am..."
"Watch your steps and what are you doing here. Its the floor for the squad members only." Levi said
"I was just..."
"You should be in your room right now. Just go back". Levi said opening the door next to him and went in leaving y/n alone.
Huhhh!! He never let me finish.
Though he saved me he doesn't seem to be a generous and kind. But still it doesn't make me hate him. He is not so tall but he looks so good. He is...handsome.y/n thought a tint of red appeared on her cheeks remembering his gaze the moment he saved him and the gaze now they were different but there was care in his eyes. She snapped out of her thoughts and quickly made her way to the room.

Levi's POV~

when I was catching up to my room I saw y/n walking near my room I walked upto her she didn't notice me until she bumped into me I was shocked too by it but I didn't showed it. Its clearly normal for dumb people to not take notice of their surrounding.  I wanted to say it loud but since Erwin is trying his hard to shower compassion towards her I can't ruin his desicions. But I am not like Erwin I can't talk to her like her father or something I do not care if she feels bad or something.I directly told her to head back to her room and entered in my room. Seemed like she was trying to say something but I don't have much time I have to work for tomorrow's custody.

But I think I could have gather more information from her. Whatever I have so much work to do.

Next Morning~

"Are you ready?" Petra asked with a smile on her face.
"Yeah, I am."
Levi stood right next to y/n.
"Are you done with your errands?" Levi asked Petra.
"Yes, I am about to I will be there afterwards. I am off then." Petra said taking a seat on her horse and leaving.
It was just Levi and y/n now.
"Let us too go then."
As we went near to the horse Levi asked me to sit on the horse.
"I don't know how to ride it"
"Of course i knew that's why you are riding with me."
Y/n was struggling to climb on its back Levi noticed it and helped her get on. Y/n was now sitting one side style and then Levi sat beside her his arms are now around y/n and here holding the reins.
Y/n could even feel his breathe he was so close to her. If it was some other boy from her hometown she would have kicked his ass. But as she isn't familiar with horse riding she has to ride like that. And it doesn't mean that y/n didn't liked it, butterflies were tickling in her stomach she couldn't sit properly she realised she even made Levi noticed it.

Y/n was sitting in the centre on a chair around her were all the higher ups of the court, in front an aggressive looking judge was sitting. On her left Levi and his squad with Erwin was standing behind the wooden bars and on her right were news publishers and some opposers looking like any moment they will start debating if they find anything inconvenient to themselves.

The debate started...
Everyone was very obvious that they wanted to use y/n to save themselves.
"Why we would care about her she is gifted to us by the gods we can use her however we want."
That sent a thump to y/n hearts but this time she wasn't feeling her past pain instead her blood was boiling she was so angry at that moment.
On the other hand Petra was defending her, "The presented person is a victim of physical violence. She has endured the pain nobody could. A pain that no one can feel rather than her due to the drawing of blood out of her body against her will which has no effect to the given person unless she wanted to."

The whole time y/n head was down she felt the overflowing rage inside her.

"Then lets ask her if she is willing to help us." Someone said.
"Girl, you will get heaven you are god-gifted, you are of no use but to sacrifice yourself, your are sent for us, you are OURS."

Y/N bursted with rage she lifted her head swiftly eyes red and full of tears but not a single one falling she bravely and loudly stated, "Didn't I already told don't you already know everything or are your subordinates some lazy bums, huh? I do not want sold my body for some heathens like you!!! "

The room went silent after Petra stated that this is y/n's last statement. The court couldn't argued against Erwin and the case closed.
