Your darting eyes surely give you away,
your sweating hands and glistening forehead;
please, I'm giving you a chance to be truthful.
Don't waste it.
Your fingers are quick to steal,
as I have found out.
You deny over and over again, but I have solid evidence and I know,
you have committed a crime.
Your hands shake as you wipe sweat from your forehead.
I gave all my trust to you,and you've thrown it away,
never to be seen again.
So, I tell you, you don't have to lie,
I know it was you.

PoetryOne of my amateur poems. Hope you like it! Description: A crime is committed. A lie is told. Truth is tangled, and it will never be the same again.
