Before I begin the story I just want to thank anyone and everyone who reads this. I have been on Wattpad for a while but had like no stories so this will be my first so thank you for any support and I hope you enjoy! ~ Ko
"Another day, another typical day..." I sighed boarding the bus for school. Though I say that now it won't be for long... hopefully... It is my very first day at actually being a high schooler so my expectations are high for the normal things like attitude, drama, classes, etc. The only thing I'm not looking for is fifth grade drama. That is the worst thing anyone can get involved in, especially when everyone is fighting about who has more boyfriends and girlfriends or who can spit the furthest loogie... disgusting I know... Again, thankfully I am now in high school with mature teenagers and adults, but with my luck I doubt that will happen.
The slow, and terrifying trip to school was extraordinary not only because of the meatheads in the back, but also due to the extremely intellectual nerds in the front (I say that with as much respect as I can). Those two group definitely don't mix at all. When we arrived at our destination the meatheads hurried to the front and grabbed the nerds roughly and pushed them out of the bus laughing along the way. It was then that one by one we all got off and rushed into the school to get our schedules, lockers, and, for everyone else but me, find our cliques. While everyone was off doing just that I took this chance to check out some of the clubs I was interested in.
There were a few such as the SOS club (Save Our Students), the LGBT club, and then Spanish club. There were a few others I liked but they required more work then I was willing to give. Despite my "love" for Spanish and teenagers whining about how their boyfriends or girlfriends broke up with them (from what I heard goes on) I decided to join the LGBT club. Of course I support the cause or else I wouldn't have joined and all you do is go to parades, host events, and hang out with each other. The warning bell rung just as I signed my name and put it into the club box. My first class for today was CP English which was practically right down the hallway.
No one was there yet but I quickly set my books down right in front to get a pretty good view of the board and teacher's desk. A few minutes later students came storming in with their friends and texting on their phones. My personal favorite type of person though, pretty sure most of you have seen this type, is the one who bumps into someone lightly but manages to drop all of her school supplies, including that one hard case marker and pencil box, that just pops open and dumps everything out. The poor girl who dropped all her stuff blushed the same color of a baboons butt. I do have a heart though so I hurried over to her and helped her pick the stuff up. She said nothing to me as I did but when we finished she looked up at me and opened her mouth widely from either shock or...
*Smack*
I stared at her in utter shock and surprise as the girl I just aided smacked me across the face for no reason. Without saying anything to me she got up and headed to the back of the class with all her supplies in tow. I said nothing but placed my hand where she smacked me only to feel a small welt beginning to form. The teacher then walked in to see me on the floor and gave me a scornful glare.
"You there! Get off of that disgusting floor immediately! Run along to the bathroom you put too much make-up on so please go wash it off!" She exclaimed with a strong look of revulsion on her face. I sighed and walked out the door to make my way down the hall when I bumped into a tall, but thin girl with eyes like that of a cat.
"Whoops, I'm sorry for walking into like that... wait... Tori? Hey how was you Summer vacation?" She asked. I quickly looked up to see my best friend from last year, Jacklyn Campbell. Grinning from ear to ear I hugged her tightly and laughed.
"Oh my God you changed so much! I just recognized you!" I shouted messing with her now fiery red hair. "Did you grow over the Summer? I was taller last year but now you are!" I chuckled. She smiled at me and let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank God you didn't change. Kim took one look at me and just snarked about me to her new 'friends'. Oh and there was some girl looking for you a bit ago. She looked pretty pissed off, but more than that familiar..." She trailed off for a second, "I remember now! It was Ivy. You know, Ivy Aguilera!" She shouted. I pinched my arm and then teared up a bit from the pain. "What are you doing?" She asked me in confusion.
"Hoping this is a fucking dream because I wish it was!" I cried. Before anything else I collapsed onto the floor and began to hyperventilate. Jacklyn knelt next to me unsure what she should do and began to ask me what was wrong. "Don't you remember? I'm the one who basically sexually harassed her on accident!" I yelled, "I tripped on that dumb carpeting of her in the bedroom and happened to fall on top of her... I may have accidentally groped her breasts trying to push myself off of her and so I guess now she has it out for me." Without another word I got up and headed towards the bathroom once again.
"Well then good luck! You'll need it Tori!" She laughed before walking back to her own classroom. Yeah good luck will sure take me a long way...
