Hey, it's CM here and this is a Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children fan fiction. And this might be confusing for people who haven't read or understood the series. But if you do like adventure, weird and crazy adventures please read the MPHFPC series.
There are loops which are different "worlds" that the same day repeats over and over and over that is run by a ymbryne which adult peculiars that can turn into birds which they can control time which is how they run loops that hold little sanctuaries of peculiars but mostly loops are made to protect peculiars. Loops always have secret entrances that can only be found by a ymbryne or peculiars.
Peculiars- are children or adults that basically have powers, mental or physical abilities that normal people do not understand. Also as long as they live in a loop they never grow old and die but if they leave a loop when they've been there for years they will turn to dust.
Ymbryne are also care takers of groups of peculiar children and their only job is to take care of peculiar children. Also most ymbrynes are woman it is rare that a man is a ymbryne.
Wights- are people mostly men that were peculiars who want to use their powers to take over the world so they are trying to conquer the nice peculiars. They have tried to make experiments to take over the world, but that has resulted in sights having no pupils, so they have blank eyes and they usually wear sunglasses all the time. And now wights are trying to take they peculiars souls which peculiars have second souls that are located in their foot. When they take a peculiars soul, a peculiar can not function as a normal person, they are just lifeless people that live horrible lives. They take souls and feed them to hollows, so that they can become powerful, for a new experiment, so if they susceed they would be able to take over the world.
Hollows are basically really ugly creatures that are wights pets. Hollows have to eat peculiars are else they will die.
And that's basically all you need to know to actually understand this book. So enjoy reading a book full of adventure.
