840.Unexpected pregnancy

Somi frowned when the line suddenly got disconnected. Thinking it was some network issue, she tried to call him again but when the call did not go through, she started feeling anxious. Not having a good feeling about it, she asked the driver to drive faster.

Thirty minutes later.

Jeon mansion.

When Somi arrived at the mansion, Misan and Yejin were waiting for her outside.

"Misan, Yejin what are you doing here?" she inquired. The strange worried and anxious expression on their face did not go unnoticed by her.

Looking at each other, Misan and Yejin kept giving each other looks, contemplating how they were supposed to disclose the news to Somi.

"Will you both tell me what is wrong? You are making me feel anxious now," Somi snapped.

Looking at her with teary eyes, Misan stated, "It's about Hwan—"

Gulping in nervousness, Somi inquired in a very shaky voice, "W-What happened to Hwan?"

Hesitating for a while, Misan answered, "He met with an accident."

Hospital.

Placing his hand on Yoongi's shoulder, Jungkook sighed, "Everything is going to be okay."

Without saying anything, Yoongi kept on staring at the operation theatre where Hwan had been rushed as soon as he was brought to the hospital.

Lisa was sitting in a corner along with Wendy, consoling her from time to time while Jeonsan and the others were equally worried and anxious for Hwan.

"It's all my fault," Wonwoo muttered.

"Stop being silly, Hwan would never blame you for anything that happened," Yunho snapped.

"Exactly, our Hwan is a fighter, I am sure that he will easily make it," Haruto assured himself and the others.

Just then, Somi, Yejin and Misan arrived at the hospital.

When Somi saw Jeonsan, she rushed towards him and inquired, "Brother Jeonsan, Hwan—"

Pulling her into his embrace, Jeonsan sighed, "Calm down, everything is going to be okay."

Clutching onto his shirt, she started crying harder. The entire day had been super hectic for her with the whole pregnancy thing and how she was supposed to disclose it to everybody. The sudden news of Hwan's accident made everything even worse. What was she supposed to do if anything was to happen to him? What would happen to their baby? The mere thought of losing him made her feel awful and her heart ached for him.

Patting her head, Jeonsan tried to calm her down. "Stop crying, you have to stay strong for Hwan, he needs your support the most." Kissing the top of her head, he added, "Come, let's get you some water." Without waiting for her reply, he guided her towards the water dispensary.

Stopping midway, Somi lowered her head. "Brother Jeonsan, I—"

Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, he inquired, "What happened?"

"Y-You are pregnant?"

Covering her face with both her hands, she started crying harder. "I don't know what to do, Hwan—I need him."

Taking a deep breath, he pulled her into his embrace once again. "Everything is going to be okay." Pulling away, he wiped her tears away. "We will talk about it later."

Uptown (country S)

"What do you mean by it Jeon Wonwoo wasn't in that car?" Mark Tuan shouted at the men who were in charge of carrying out of the mission.

"W-We don't know how that happened boss, we saw Jeon Wonwoo entering the car but it turns out it was someone else," one of the men answered.

"Shut, don't try to give me an explanation for your clumsy ways of handling things. How could you people target the wrong person? After this incident, everyone will become super alert and it will be very difficult for us to carry out our future missions." Balling his hand into a fist, Mark gritted his teeth, "Now everything is ruined, our whole plan—everything has to be changed. You bunch of idiots interrupted my whole plan."

Placing his hand on Mark's shoulder, Pulos tried to calm him down, "Don't panic uncle, everything is going to be okay."

"No nothing is okay, that disgusting nephew of mine is winning and I am not liking it. How can I lose to him?" Mark fumed.

"If the real target is Yang Zixin then why are we wasting our time attacking the Li's and others?" Pulos curiously inquired.

"You don't understand Pulos, Zixin is acting so bold because he has lots of external support. I have nothing to do with the Jeon's, in fact they are ones who purposely got involved in this. I am just trying to teach them a lesson and force them to back out, this will help me execute and take care of my nephew in a better way," Mark explained.

Thinking for a while, Pulos asked, "What about Andrew? How are you going to take care of him?"

"I have other plans for him," he answered before turning towards his men. "Find out who that person was and whether he is dead or not."

Hospital.

It had been more than an hour but no one had stepped out of the operation theatre which made everyone panic even more.

After learning the news of Somi's unexpected pregnancy, Jeonsan refused to leave her side. He sat beside her with his arms protectively wrapped around her shoulder. It would be a lie if he said he was okay with everything he had heard but he knew that it wasn't the right time to say anything, at least not until Hwan was out of danger. He also knew that right now his little sister needed him and he would definitely stand by her no matter what happened.

Inching closer, he inquired, "Did you tell anyone about it yet?"

Somi shook her head and answered, "No, you are the only one who knows."

Kissing the top of her head, he assured her, "Everything is going to be okay so don't worry. Do you want some water—" Stopping midway, he scrunched his brows, "Wait, did you eat anything since morning."

When she shook her head, Jeonsan frowned deeper.
