The rest of the day passed without too many problems. I could hear people talking when I walked by, but most of them were hyping me up so I just felt good. I mean as good as I could. What I'd done earlier was very bad and I feel like I need to talk to Professor Snape and solve it out. Meanwhile, and as much as I'm dying to tell Draco, I have to keep my mouth shut. He did tease me with the weird way I was pushed out of the Great Hall, but I told him Snape just had lectured me not to do that again in such a place and he seemed to buy it so.
- Miss Lovegood. - once again I was ripped out of my mind. I looked up, finding a not-happy Professor Lupin.
-Sorry, Professor. My mind was traveling.
-I'd noticed. Try and pay attention or I'll have to give you detention. - I nodded and he kept going with what he was saying. Although I wasn't still paying attention at all, I managed to push this morning's events off my mind. As the class ended, I was gathering my stuff to leave when I felt a hand on my shoulder. - Could you please talk to me for a second, Miss Lovegood?
-Yes, Sir. - I sat again, exchanging confused looks with Draco.
-Well, Y/n. You seemed kind of worried during this class and you seem to have something on your mind. I just wanted to make sure everything was alright with you.
-Oh yes, everything is great. And sorry again for not paying attention.
-Don't worry. We all have bad days. Did Snape give you a hard time earlier? - I blush at his comment.
-Hum, no .. no, he didn't. He just told me I shouldn't have done that there.
-I'm glad he didn't give you detention or anything like that. He can be a little old-fashioned you know, about this kind of stuff. I think is quite normal, and was internally vouching for you. I love Harry, don't get me wrong but what he did to you was unacceptable, so I think that what you did was suitable. - he smiles at me.
-Thanks, sir. Really. - he smiled, dismissingly.
-No need to thank me. I'm sorry you had to go through that and please feel free to tell me if you ever need anything.
-Thank you. - I smiled at him and so did he. - I better go now, my friends are waiting for me. - he nodded. - Thanks again, Professor Lupin.
-See you around, Miss Y/n. - I waved at him and left the classroom. I made my way to the Great Hall, as this was our last class of the day and it was time for dinner. Finding Draco I approached him and settled there. Lupin arrived soon after and I noticed Snape looking between me and him curious. I smiled discreetly.
-Earth calls Y/n. - Pansy waved her hand in front of my face. - What is wrong with you today, you've been on the moon all day.
-It must have been from having fun with the Weasleys this morning. - I looked at Blaise as they started giggling.
-Shut up, or do you want to become Draco's ferret twin? - I say starting to reach for my wand. He immediately lifted his hands, backing off. - That's what I thought.
-Good decision, man. Not an enjoyable experience. - we laughed. Dinner went on without any interventions and then everyone went to their common room. On our way there I spotted Professor Snape but as soon as he saw me he turned the other way.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One week has passed and I've yet to talk to Snape. I'm getting sick of this. He's always walking away when he notices me and avoiding me at all costs, plus the little times he can't run away and we cross paths he makes up some lame excuse not to talk to me. The guilt of what we've done is getting bigger by the second because I haven't been able to talk to somebody about it, it's making me crazy.
