It was the start of a new day and everyone was asleep... well, not leafy "ugh.... what time is it?..." Leafy said clearly wanting to sleep in. She grabbed her phone and checked the time "6:30? Why did I wake up so early-" a notification caught her eyes.
"A solar eclipse this afternoon!? Aww man I was gonna go to the amusement park with firey today." She said disappointed. She decided to call firey to see if he was awake yet.
The phone rang "Beep. Beep. Beep." Firey picked up the phone "Hey buddy! How are things?" Leafy said joyfully over the phone "not bad, yourself?" Firey replied.
[Leafy.] (Firey.)
[Oh I'm great, thanks for asking! Though I am just a little bummed that we'll have to wait for tomorrow to go to the amusement park.]
(What do you mean leafy? Why not today?)
[You didn't hear? There's a solar eclipse happening this afternoon!]
(Oh, well that sucks.)
[I know, right? We had so much planned!]
They talked for awhile, after they were done they went to their kitchens to make themselves their breakfasts.
Elsewhere...
Far away from where the other objects live was a forest, an evil forest. There was a creature quite thrilled about the eclipse, but why?
