Chapter -1

As we enter a two story house , we can hear a melody voice singing bhajan in the house . Hearing pooja all the men of the residence gathered in the mandir . After pooja the girl served the prasad.

Yes , it is RAJPUT RESIDENCE . The girl was none other than Maya Rajput.

All went towards the dinning area for breakfast. The servant ( Kamla ) came to serve them .

" Are, kaki hum aa hi rahe the . Aap itni takleef na le." Maya said politely to the servant

" Are takleef ki kya baat hein beta . Wese tumne hi toh breakfast banaya hein hum toh bus paros rahe hein." Kaki replied very affectionately to the young girl.

She has been serving the rajputs from the time Maya has been born . She was there when their mother left them at a young age due to cancer. She has seen all of them growing into great and humble human beings.

" Jesa aap kahe." Maya replied with a smile and started their breakfast.

All of them went to their room to get ready. Maya went to the kitchen as she was already ready and started to pack her father and brothers lunch box. She was doing her work when suddenly loud noices came .

" Maya yaar meri blue shirt nahi mil rahi " shouted Nikhil from his room

" Mayu meri tie bandh do " shouted Atharv

"Maya beta mera chashma nahi mil raha " shouted Rajesh

This was not a new scene . It was about everyday. The whole Rajput couldn't work without Maya .

Maya shook her head with a small smile and took the lunch boxes and went towards their room. First she went towards her father's room .

" Coming " she yelled back.

" yeh lijiye baba sa apka lunch box" she said while handing over the lunch box and searched for his glasses. " here" and handed over the glasses .

Rajesh kissed her forehead and said " Thank you baba ki shaan " affectionately and went downstairs .

Then she went toards her bigger brother room and kept the lunch box on side table and directly went towards the closet to get his shirt as he was in balcony on call. She searched for the shirt and kept on the bed .

She lastly went to her send elder brother . He was sitting there impationtely with his tie.

" Finally aap aa hi gai" said Atharv while sighing

Maya went towards him and started tieing his tie while instructing " Aap apna lunch time se kha lijiyega or bhai sa or baba sa ko yaad dilajiyega. Kaam mein bhool mat jana . Or sambhal kar jana or jaldi se apni pyaari si behen ke paas aa jaiyega " she said with mischeive in end which make him chuckled.

He softly patted her cheeks and went downstairs . All gents bid their byes except grandpa.

She went to her room and packed her bag as she has to go to college . She is in the last year of her college .

She went downstairs and went to the garden as her dada sa was sitting there having his tea .

" Dada sa hum college jaa rahe hein or aap apna khayal rakhna . Or apni dopahar ki medicine time se le lijiyega." She said instructing him cutely.

He just chuckled at the young lady and patted her head and said softly. " Theek hein or aap bhi apna khyal rakhna ."

"Jee" she touched his feet took blessing and left.

Outside driver was already present there.

" Good morning kaka " she said to the driver and sat in car.

Driver also wished her.

That was how her life was. She was only 5 year old when her mother left. Being the only girl in the house, she was always pampered . But that was not her weakness. Even after been pampered, she was never the one to be dependent on others. At the age of 15 she took all the responsibility of house. She didn't want her family to remember her mother only to cry but to smile. Wherever she goes she carries a very calm aura and positive energy.
