chapter 1 The Golden Gate Pub

He sat in a dark corner of the pub, his Gray Green Rangers cloak concealed most of his body and the hood covered his face apart from his dark brown eyes. His bow and quiver were leaning against the wall, his belt held four razor sharp throwing knives and two long daggers were  hidden under his cloak.  The  man himself was in his mid 20's, had a neatly trimmed black beard and was shorter than the average person by about a head and a half.  He sat watching the door as though he was waiting for someone to come in.  The Ranger had been sitting there for about 25 minutes and as he was about to leave another ranger wearing the same gray green cloak entered the pub and walked up to the to the table where the other ranger sat and said" William, long time no see, where have you been hiding for the past month and a half"?  William replied "I was on a reconnaissance mission in the West Country, the King thought that the west were planning for war, and Aaron he was right".
