It's a more unique take on the more popular concept!
So in my version of Hanahaki I want to go more to the original concept if it being unconfessed feelings. So the way I write it means that if the character confesses it all goes away regardless of it being mutual or not! So the way I write this is going to be the more feelings he bottles down the more he will cough up flowers and the closer to death he will get.
