Fear Friendship and Reunion.

Chapter 2.

Gem POV.

I'm watching Ares training in the gardens he looks at me and winks I giggle.

I notice Hera watching with a small smile and I head down the halls and I knock on Hera's door.

Hera“ Come in.

I walk in and I see her crows staring me down Hera turns to me and smiles.

Hera“ Gem what do I owe the pleasure.

Gem“ I um wanted to see how your doing?

She chuckles and gestures me to stand beside her I do as she asks and I look around.

Hera“ Zeus still hides but I'll find him he's probably hiding with one of his many sluts.

I notice Apollo and Ares talking and I smile and wave at them.

Hera“ Gem are you interested in them? I can arrange them to take you out til you find a suitable husband.

Gem“ Oh it's ok Hera.

Hera“ *confused* Then is it a woman?

I look and notice Hera looking at me with such intensity and curiousity.

Gem“ Um I don't know I just never been pursued by anyone maybe I am meant to be alone.

Hera“ Now don't talk like that I promise you'll find someone.

She smiles and I notice Hermes and Hera glares so harshly at him I touch her hand and she pulls away.

Hera“ I need to be alone now.

Gem“ Of course your Majesty.

I walk out and I hear Hera scream and she destroys the door I dodge the debris.

I sigh and head to my room not wanting to risk of suffering her wrath.

*Night*

I'm in my nightgown and I notice Hera walking in.

Hera“ I must apologize for making you uncomfortable.

Gem“ No need for apologising-.

Hera raises her hand and I go silent and she sighs and walks towards me and holds out a broach.

Hera“ I know you like peacocks so I made this.

Gem“ Oh Hera I can't accept this-.

Hera“ Oh I understand *chuckles*.

Oh gods I don't wanna make her sad.

I accept the broach and she smiles.
