If only you were after me instead of her

Just a normal day or so I thought.

     It started as a normal day in the mushroom kingdom, as my older but short brother burst through my door yelling at me to wake up as the princess was taken during the night and the toads just noticed the missing princess.    

   As I scramble getting dressed, pulling on my overalls on top of my green shirt folding the sleeves half way down my arm while slipping my gloves on then grabbing my bag at the foot of my messy bed from rushing out of it. I thought to myself, "I'll make it once I get back home." then running into the kitchen grabbing left over waffles, Mario had made a few days ago while following Mario out the door and down the green pipes going to the "dark lands" to save his Princess and just another week where he gets all the prays from all the colorful toads.

    Going through all nine worlds which have gotten easier each time we go through them but I somehow still get hurt and Mario leaves me behind multiple times before coming back and dragging me along to not die thankfully we made it through without being badly harmed. Once Me and my brother made it to the gate of the dark lands castle when the battle became more brutal each time, every time. 

"You ready Lu?" Mario asked while taking a look at me with the few scraps I took while fighting in the worlds. "I just want to make sure because we both know Bowser wont go down without a fight and we need Princesses peach to come back and run the Mushroom kingdom."

"I'll be okay Mario, don't worry. once we get home we can always recover and heal up from the battle" I gave him a forced smile however I'm pretty sure he couldn't see past the smile of me being okay and not a bother to him.

  He didn't wait long before pushing the gate open while running through the doors. I had to rush to just catch up with him. Making my way through all the traps and lava areas while only getting burned once or twice. Looking up I had noticed Mario was nowhere in sight, The area around was different from what I remembered, soon the traps became paths with lovely dark red carpets with torches for light hanging on the wall with the dark purple walls. Soon muffled voices became loud and clear the more I walked closer.

"Father please! Mario is a big jerk! he ripped her bow." A familiar voice, a voice I know, it was Jr. he must have been talking to Bowser, which means Mario isn't at the throne room yet, unless he has already saved the princess but he wouldn't leave me here alone. Right?

"Tell Wendy, I'll be in her room to try to fix it. okay? I just want to take care of my wounds that dumb plumber did to me." His words shocked me, Mario already has the princess and left me here. Suddenly Sharp pain hit me hard, slowly turning around to see a yellow troop with green shells poking my back with a spear, that's when I froze and knew it was game over for me. They ended up pushing me into the room with Jr and Bowser. It was the throne Room and Bowser looked pretty beat up from Mario, who left with peach through the tall enemy's strained windows, but the glass is scattered across the ground. I don't think troop noticed he pushed me right into a pile of the broken glass, I was glad my shoes were somewhat protecting my feet, however I felt some glass go into my foot.

"Ouch!" I yelp as the glass shot up my foot. But my scream alerted Jr and Bowser, who are now looking at me. The troop had noticed what he did then pulled me out of the glass and made me kneel in front of Bowser.

" I found him around the corner boss, I think Mario left his brother here while he was trying to get the princess. he might be useful for your next plan." He explained as he held me in place, Running away wasn't an option anymore, all I can do is stay until Mario saves me.

"Well Well Well, you have a lot of nerve to show your face after the battle greenie. However your brother has already left with the princess. So You are now my prisoner. Guards put him in the princesses room for now. and make sure that glass is cleaned up along with his feet. I'm not that cruel." He said as he brushed them off as they helped me to my feet and walked me to the caged room that's made for the princess. I was wondering why he put me in her room when he could have put me in a cellar or cage. 

    Once the doors to the bright pink room with a giant bed with pink covers with gold pillows with no windows was closed, after they got the glass out of my feet, which hurt a lot. It was very pink here which I don't mind It's just a lot when you have to stare at it for hours at a time.  Looking around the very pink room, pink dresser, pink clothes, pink carpet and rugs, just about everything was pink. Just then the door opened while staring a small turtle walked into the room closing the door, resting on the door before looking up at me. 

"Um this is dumb but you know how to fix things so fix this!" He hands me the bow he had earlier. All I could do was just stare at the bow. 

 "Jr I'm a plumber, I don't know how to fix a bow." I responded to him. i watched as his frown became angry before he yelled.

" I don't care! fix it!"  Shoving the bow into my face by putting a needle and thread into my hands. So opening the thread by putting a knot before threading the string into the needle then sewing up the ripped then handing it back to JR once I finished then he ran locking the door.
