So, thinking about that thought, he immediately went all quiet like later that night... the leaders were sleeping. Now was his chance. Should we mention that Poppy has good hearing? He jolts the lever up to the entrance, where he runs out.

He avoids the corrupted trolls, and tries to find something.

Surprisingly, he finds an old van. He questioned. Do Trolls even use cars? He's been so wrapped up in this world, that he thinks that trolls use caterpillar buses and talking hot balloons. Oh, well. He couldn't argue. He tried to kickstart the van (well, thanks to his father's lessons) but then sees a familiar pink figure in the distance staring at him outside.

Reef Marina: Come on! Come on!

The pink figure was standing right by him now. Who could've guessed? It was Poppy.

Reef Marina: Ah! Queen Poppy! What brings you out here tonight?

Queen Poppy: Oh, I dunno. I just love walking outside at night... you never know if your friends need help!

Reef Marina: ...You know what I'm doing, don't I?

She raises her right eyebrow.

Reef Marina: Gah! Okay, fine. I was just... finding something to take us to... a location where we can stop this guy!

Queen Poppy: Oh, really?

Reef Marina: Mmm-hmm!

Queen Poppy: Hmmm... nah, that's not what it is.

Reef Marina: ...Okay! I... I... don't know what to do this time!

Queen Poppy was stunned at the subject. Usually, when it comes to adventuring, Reef is all in! But, seeing him not know what to do is quite... jarring.

Reef Marina: Think about it, Poppy! We've never dealt with an evil like this! I'm... I'm winging it as well.

Queen Poppy: Reef... you don't think we can't do this, right?

Reef Marina: We can do this! I'm just... not sure if we're gonna win.

Queen Poppy: *gasps*

Reef Marina: Don't worry! Don't, please! Please keep this between us, okay? Ugh!

He was really getting annoyed on the subject, he bonked his head down. Welp, the horn actually worked. It was jarring as well. Unfortunately, it got a couple corrupted trolls attentions.

Reef Marina: Oh, shrimp! Get the leaders!! I'll fend them off!

Poppy ran to Branch's bunker, grabbing the leaders. Reef stepped out the car and faced the trolls dead on. He tried to grab his trident... but...

Reef Marina: Wha? No! Where's my trident?!

That same night, Daniel was seen... carrying a trident.

Daniel: *chuckles evilly*

Corrupted Lilac: Lord Daniel, there are some trolls nearby.

Daniel: Good. *evilly laughs*

Back with Reef....

Reef Marina: No!! *runs to the car* Come on, start! Baby, start!
