"he wanted to live in the country , have a farm and all that. my mom wanted that to... we where all happy with it. of course i was out side a lot and that's how i got into skating. i found my dads old skate bored while he was at work. i got on and fell a lot but it was fun so i continued and learned everything on my own... until my mom found out and she would help me as much as she could. she told my dad and we had a lot of fun. when i started skating to school people saw. then i did tricks and everyone loved it. i got famous... my mom and dad started fighting about our new life. my mom wanted me to continue and my dad wanted our country life. they would always fight and then they divorced and we moved up north california... then canada and that's where i've been. my dad would promise to meet with me and we would have a father daughter day... but his work always got in the way. my mom has her phases where she starts talking to him again , but he never comes to meet us she gets mad.... the other day when we raced he was there..."

"no i didn't even see him" miya looked at me , he didn't say "oh well you know he loves you" or "it's not your fault" he stayed quiet and maybe he just doesn't know what to say but him saying nothing is the best part. he just stared at my eyes.
