"Jason, it's nearing 11 please go get the models." I alerted the creative director of this shoot.

I was extremely agitated with what was being done. It seemed as if nothing was going my way.

Today, my team and I were supposed to be having models for the new drop of clothing that was about to come out. It included hoodies, jackets, shirts, slides and more.

Nothing was going as planned.

"Ms. Maraj, not all of my models are done getting ready. I gave them 15." I folded my lips in to keep me from saying anything.

"Jason, I booked y'all for 2 hours and one is already wasted. If this shoot isn't done in the time I had prepared it's going to be a problem."

I was bold about what I wanted. It's no way It should take almost a half an hour to correctly do your job.

After I spoke my mind he just nodded his head and sat down. Oh?

"I'll just do it myself then." I got up out of director chair I was sitting in and walked towards the dressing room. I felt like I was being played with.

When I approached the door I could hear laughing and multiple sources of music playing. Were these bitches making TikToks?

I didn't bother knocking on the door. "Excuse me?" They all turned their head to look at me.

So, my assumption was right. The models were in here making dance videos instead of doing their jobs.

"Y'all do know this shit was supposed to start a hour ago right? I really feel like I just wasted my money." I stood at the door bluntly speaking my mind.

These hoes were in here fully dressed, too!

"Now If I cut everybody check, I'll be wrong? Right?" Nobody said anything.

"It's not that serious. We'll be out in a little." One of the models in the front spoke up.

I just walked away.

I was so irritated at the moment. This is what I meant when I said nobody in this industry took me serious.

Compared to other clothing brands, I'm a newbie and wasn't respected as much.

"Joseph, you and your girls can go. I see I obviously wasted my time booking y'all for what I wanted. My assistant is in the back so notify her when y'all are packed up." I simply stated and grabbed my purse to leave.

He stood dumbfounded at the camera.

I was going to get my respect one way or another.

My eyes started to tear up a little as I walked away. Overwhelmed wasn't even the word to describe how I felt right now.

I knew I was being a cry baby about the whole situation but who cares. I wasted my time.

As I got closer to my car I could see the Creative Director following behind me. He wasn't about to get a word out of me.

Once my car door closed that was it. I could feel hot tears stinging my face as I drove off. All of this was out of frustration.

I just wanted to be on a pedestal that the others were put on. "Siri, Call LoLo."

I had my phone connected to my car. Once the phone started ringing through the speakers my composure straightened up a bit.

She answered on the 3rd ring. "Hello?"
