Something's going down

The Lyoko Warriors had been fighting a large XANA outbreak. Yumi began slashing violently at a monster with her fans, when another one blasted at Aelita. "Aelita, hit the dirt!" Odd yelled, in which she ducked as the beam hit a tree, about to fall on Yumi. Ulrich quickly unsheathed his katanas, "YUMI NO!!!" He then sliced the tree in speeds that made it seem like the tree just broke alone. Yumi jumped at the 2 halves falling to the ground. She turned to Ulrich, who was breathing very sporadic, "Well, that's unlike you. What was that little episode before you saved me?" Ulrich felt his heart race when he also felt his face become warm. He was blushing furiously.

He then said to Yumi, "Can we talk about this when we're not fighting for the fate of humanity?" Yumi giggled and nodded to him, she was blushing ,too. Suddenly, a stray arrow almost hit her. She gasped and froze, when Odd said, "Sorry, Yumi. I-" Before he could finish, Ulrich said., "Odd! Behind You!" A large monster was about to swat him into a tree. Before he knew what hit him, he jumped out of the way, firing an arrow into it's core, killing it on impact. Aelita got up and told Odd, "I think you got him." He replied with a large grin, "Ya' think." Ulrich reached for his comms. "Jermie, the area's clear. Bring us home." On Earth, Jermie was beginning to set the de-virtualizer to bring his friends home. "Rodger that. Activating...NOW!"

The gang soon found themselves back in the factory, safe and sound. Yumi walked to Ulrich, he saw her coming towards her. He was blushing. She asked him, "So, now will you tell me what that was about?" Ulrich grabbed her wrist gently and walked over to a dark corner. "Follow me..." They both sat on their knees, Ulrich said, "Well, Yumi I-I kinda. sorta-" He took a large gulp, swallowing his pride. Yumi said, lightly nudging him with her shoulder, "Are you gonna tell me? What if I tell you something I wanted to say to you too? Would that make you feel better?" Ulrich nodded, "Yup." They both counted down "3-" Ulrich began to tense up, "2-", Yumi's eyes began to wander, "1!" They blushed and said at the same time "I love you." Ulrich covered his mouth, Yumi liked him too. Yumi began to cry tears of joy, "W-Why didn't you say anything sooner?" Ulrich told her the honest truth, "I was afraid you would reject me." All of a sudden, Yumi wrapped her arms around Ulrich's waist, "I would never reject you!" He smiled and blushed. Then he kissed her cheek. "Sorry!" He then began to sweat again. But, Yumi said to him, "It's alright, that's what makes you cute." She locked her lips with Ulrich's. Two opposites have attracted.
