felix was sitting at his favorite coffee shop, enjoying a quiet moment by himself. He had just finished writing a new book, a piece about enemies to lovers conflict. he was completely engrossed in his work, not noticing anything else around him.
suddenly, he heard someone sit down on the other side of the table. When he looked up, he saw a young woman with long, blonde hair, dressed in a pink and white dress, with a white fluffy coat on top.
"do you mind if I sit here?" she asked, with a smile.
felix looked her up and down, taking in her outfit . He shrugged, "Sure, knock yourself out."
the woman sat down, eyeing felix with a friendly glint. "what are you working on? anything interesting?"
felix shrugged, "Just a new book, an enemies to lovers kind of thing. Nothing too exciting."
The woman smiled, "really? id love to start writing my own books someday.. im actually reading a book with the same kind of story as the one you're writing!." She reached into her bag and pulled out a hardback book. "here, take a look."
felix gently took the book from her, opening it and slowly starting to read the first few pages, careful not to break the books spine. every few paragraphs he'd discuss it with her.. talking about how some parts inspired him, and how some parts were pretty corny..
their conversations flowed so easily, even if it wasnt a constant conversation, and half of it was silent.., it was as if they had known each other for years. as they finished their coffee and left the café, both felix and the woman exchanged numbers, excited to meet again.
