"Now just try to get some rest you might be out of the hospital but that doesn't mean you should go around the house when you should be in bed" you said your sister walking inside the room you were in you looked at your hand that was stabbed it hurt like hell to even move it
"I don't like randy" said Emma turning to face you "or the brunette girl or the blonde girl or small guy and taller dude they all just give me this weird feeling and I can't quite understand" said Emma with an annoyed look on her face "well who do you like nowadays" you said sitting on your bed
"This isn't funny I just wanted a little weird how they said that they were going to a haunted maze why would they want to go to haunted maze" said Emma putting a hand over her stomach and her other hand on her chin like she was thinking of something it wasn't a lie your sister really didn't like anyone
She could barely tolerate you "well Randy is a movie freak I have no doubt the others are just like him" you said making Emma eyes land on you although you kind of regret saying that because Emma started to walk back and forth with her hands behind her back
"You're just proving my point what if he seen a lot of horror movies and what if he wants to act out one he comes out as a killer and he goes after his best friends like some fucking maniac" said Emma as she stops walking making you laugh "randy? Why would he do that?" You said as you kept laughing
"I find it amusing how you're now playing detective" you said with a small smile making Emma roll her eyes at you "I'm serious how do we not know that he's not that attacked you" she said giving you a dirty look as you walked past her to go outside the room "well I guess we just have to hold on until we have more evidence" you said
"The police are useless..." Said Emma as her voice went lower since she looked at your hand that didn't have the red string "you still have no idea who your soulmate is do you?" Said Emma looking up at you watching as you nodded your head no "like I said it disappeared when I got attacked" you said looking away something wasn't right
"I see" said Emma you looked at her and something told you that she was thinking of something "a penny for your thoughts?" You said reaching inside your pocket "I just found it... Weird that when you got attacked the string disappeared" said Emma in a whisper "you're not saying that..." You said but got cut off by Emma
"No of course I don't think the people that attacked you are your soulmates but was anyone with you when we all left?" Said Emma in a curious tone "no I was by myself I was ordering some takeouts when I got the call and that's when I got attacked" you said you didn't want to think that they were your soulmates you hope and prayed
"Right what was I thinking" said Emma as she lets out a small laugh "I don't know" you said walking towards the kitchen "do you mind if I go out again? I know that I shouldn't be leaving you by yourself but I just need to run some errands I would take you with me but like I said you need to be resting" said Emma walking towards the door
"Yeah go I'll be fine here" you said opening the fridge door to find something to eat "I won't be long" said Emma as the door closed behind her you yawn and stretch you were feeling a bit tired and less hungry maybe when you wake up you can make yourself something to eat
You went back to your room and fell on your bed pulling the blankets on you as you got yourself comfortable and with that you fell asleep it was still pretty early it was around six so when you wake up it will probably be around nine you rested your hand so it could feel better when you wake up

You jumped out of bed noticing all the lights were off it was pitch black you looked at the clock and it was midnight you pulled the covers off of you and got off the bed to turn on the lights making you blinking multiple times as you rub your eyes you must have had a good dream since you could barely stand and you were sweating

"Mom?" You called out but there was no answer "dad?" You called out again but there was no answer "Emma?" You said turning on the living room lights but it seemed like no one was in the house it was completely empty you didn't understand didn't Emma say she was going to run some errands and where were your mom and dad

That's when it hit you it was probably one of them that was calling you so in a hurry you ran to the phone and picked it up ready to complain on why they left you alone in the house and didn't wake you up to tell you they were leaving or at least leave you a note saying they were going out somewhere not leave you to guess
"Mom? Dad? Emma? Where are you?" You said but what you heard was something you didn't expect "𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤" they said making you freeze in the spot you don't know how but you got the courage to hand up like your hand moved on it's on no not again this time you were going to get killed
You nearly jump when you hear the phone ring again you didn't want to pick it up but your mind started to wonder if your mom, dad or emma were in danger what if they did something to them you hesitantly picked up the phone and put it towards your ear where you held back tears
"𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙧𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙄 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚~" they said in a teasing tone "you... You aren't my soulmate" you said your voice was pretty shaky "𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙚? 𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙄'𝙢 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣?" They said but when you didn't say anything they let out a small laugh
"𝙄𝙛 𝙄 𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙣'𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙞𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙤 𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣" they said but their breath was now heavy like they just ran a whole marathon
"What do you want?" You said almost in a whisper you felt like you were being watched but you didn't look back afraid of what you might see if you did "𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙄 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙄 𝙬𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙣'𝙩 𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧" they said although they now sounded mad like you offended them
"Leave my family alone" you said "𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙖𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙄 𝙜𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮" they said "that's if we don't find you first" you said holding the phone tighter
They stayed silent for a moment before the line went dead making you let out a sigh of relief as you put the phone down you slowly turned around and looked towards the window but you didn't see anyone since it was dark so it was impossible and just like that the front door open
