Chapter One

Crash! I was awoken from the sound of something shaddering. Ripping off my sheets, I sprang out of bed and ran down the stairs. Unfortunately I tripped and smashed my head on the bottom step and blacked out immediately.

I opened my eyes to a white dull room, my whole body ached. I sat up slowly and looked around, only to find my sister Jill, resting at the foot of the bed. Great I'm in a hospital... I nudged my sister lightly. She bolted up like someone had shocked her.

"What the hel- Oh good you're awake. How are you feeling?" Jill asked.

"Sore and confused," I responded.

"Confused? Why are you confus-" Jill stopped and looked over to the door, expecting something to happen. Just then a Doctor came in.

"Hello there, Molly. I'm Doctor Marc. How are you feeling?" He smiled, while looking down at his clipboard.

"Sore, tired and confused. Can someone please tell me what's going on?" I demanded.

"Well Molly, I don't know and neither does the Doctor."Jill explained.

"Then how did you know I was her-" I trailed off, looking at someone coming into the room.

"And who might you be young man? Part of the family?" Doctor Marc questioned.

"Uhm, no. I actually just a friend." He smiled, taking a seat next to Jill.

I sat back and closed my eyes, breathing deeply, then opening them again. I looked right at Jill, who was looking out the window.

"Jill who is this?" I whispered.

"This is Scott, he's Rileys friend." she mumbled.

"Why is he here?" I questioned.

She just looked at me shocked, like I just slapped her across the face. I looked at Scott, puzzled. Who was this man in my room?

"Scott, why are you here?" I growled, narrowing my eyes at him.

"Well Molly," narrowing his eyes at me, "I'm the one who found you and brought you here."

"You what?!" I screamed.

"Molly, calm down. Yes I'm the one who found you. Riley gave me your address, cause I needed somewhere to crash for a while. When I got there, your living room window was broken. So I walked over and looked in, only to see you on the floor with a puddle of blood around you. I climbed threw the window, picked you up and called an ambulance. They took you here, while I stayed at your house and called the cops." He explained, looking sad.

"Well, thank you Scott." Jill chimed in.

"Okay, well Molly. You can go home now. Jill will you come with me to sign her release forms?" Doctor Marc asked.

"Yes, let me just call Riley to come pick us up." She said, pulling her phone out of her pocket and dialing his number.

"Hey babe... yeah she's ready to leave...... Uhm, yeah he's here too.... Alright see you soon." Closing her phone and putting it back into her pocket she walked out of the room.

Molly laid there, so peaceful and fragile. She looked so scared when he walked in. Why would she be scared of him? he thought. Oh right because she's never seen you in her life. He looked out the window and saw Riley’s dark navy blue SUV pull up to the hospital.

Who does he think he is, just walking in here and thinking he can make everything better by saying he's the one who found me? What was he expecting? Me to jump up and hug him, thanking him? Haha fat chance, she thought, laughing at her little remark. She looked over at Scott; he wasn't paying attention to her, but to Riley’s SUV outside the hospital.

"Hey Scott?" I muttered, looking away.

"Yes?" He hummed turning around, and looked at me.

"Can you go outside of the room and tell Jill, Riley's here while I get dressed?" I choked, looking at the door.

"Oh, sure." He said, opening the door and leaving the room.

Molly sat up and swung her legs over the side of the bed. She breathed in deeply and hopped off the bed, she whimpered at the pain in her ankles, but proceeded to put her clothes on. Slowly she had her shirt over her head and pulled down, next was her shorts, ugh and it's freezing out what was I thinking when I wore this to bed, she thought while pulling them up. She sat back on the bed waiting for Jill to come in and get her. 15 minutes went by, then 20. What was going on out there? She thought as she got off the bed once more and walked over to the door and slowly opened it, peeking her head out. She looked around and couldn't find Jill or Scott or even the Doctor anywhere. Walking out of the room she strolled over to the nurses’ desk, no one was behind it. She turned and walked down the hall and looked in every room, no one. Just as she was about to take another step forward an arm wrapped around her waist and a hand covered her mouth, pulling her into the room next to her.

"Hush little one, I'm not going to hurt you." The voice said, it sounded raspy and deep.

Her heart beat loud and hard, she couldn't breathe or see anything in front of her. The man let her go and she stumbled forward, knocking over buckets and brooms everywhere. A closet? She wondered. She felt over the walls for a light switch, nothing. Searching a little more and her hand ran over one and flipped it on, turning around and pressing her back against the wall. Looking around the room for the man that had grabbed her. She was the only in there, no sign of another person being in there.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" She called out.

She listened for a minute, not hearing anything and decided to walk out of the closet. She heard her name being called. She ran to her room to find Jill, Scott and Riley looking around for her. She knocked on the door and they all whipped around, all wide eyed and white faced.

"Where were you?!" Jill screamed.

"Where was I? Where were you? I waited in here for 20 minutes. When you didn't come in, I walked out to see what you were doing. I saw no one out there." I shouted back.

"Molly we were all outside your room talking to the Doctor. After we were done, we walked back in here and you were gone." Riley explained.

"Okay whatever. Let's just get out of here please?" I begged.

"Come on, let's go." Jill huffed.
