Lily is leaving.Jacob thinks sadly, kicking a stone on the sidewalk."Jacob!"a voice calls behind him,he sees a girl with long black hair,copper colored skin,and bright golden eyes,Lily Sparrow Jackson."What?"Jacob replies sadly. "Don't be like that."Lily playfully scolds."Why not?Your leaving me-"Jacob starts but gets cut of by Lily."I am not leaving you Jacob Fernfrost."her voice tight and angry,"I will send you letters,you will always be my first best friend." Jacob stares shocked at her usual calm friend because she has never snapped at him like that."I'm not leaving you forever, it will only be for a couple years." lily pleads looking Jacob straight in his ocean blue eyes."Yeah,like 9 years are a couple years."Jacob spats angry at the irony of it all.He doesn't notice her eyes fill with sadness,then he looks at her and sees her eyes.

"I don't mean it like that Lily, I'm not angry at you but your parents for sending you to a faraway school."Jacob explains."Do you want to prank Mrs.Newberry?" Lily asks and evil glint in her eyes."Oh no."Jacob says, walking back slightly."One more,please."Lily pleads.Well she is moving, so whats the harm?Jacob mentally asks himself."Sure."Jacob accepts."Yay!"Lily cheers,jumping up and down.He mentally face palms, what have I gotten myself into?

"Hey Lily,I got this for you."Jacob says showing Lily the anklet he made once they were done with the prank.It was three ribbons each a different color,gold,black, and ocean blue,and had a charm that looked like a heart with an arrow through it."I love it!"Lily shouts hugging Jacob."Welcome." Jacob says gasping for breath after Lily's huge hug."Lily!"her mother calls."Well,see ya in a few years, I won't forget you."Lily says kissing his cheek before running towards her mother."See you too, Lily."Jacob mutter holding his cheek as he walked back to his house.
