I really enjoy how Astarion tends to the Durge when she's going through it. Cassandra is my cannon illithid vessel and tries to prove she is more than the hunger for blood inside her. Act 2 really supports necromancers in game, so she is cannonically one, although I currently play her as a wild mage.
She is best friends, and wingman, to Gale.

Blanchette Marelle

Romance: Gale
Backstory:
Blanchette was born to druidic parents, who were part of the werewolf pack surrounding the druidic grove of Silvanus, who worshipped Malar, the deity of hunting, stalking, bloodlust, and bestial savagery. Her parents were so devote that they essentially sacrificed her to the god, her soul now in a pact to him, and it was he who bestowed upon her the curse of bloodlust. Her parents were kicked out of grove and pack upon this rash decision.
Blanchette was raised by her parent's former pack, and eventually by Halsin himself, to atone for having her parents expelled from the conclave.
She meets the main group the first night Astarion goes hunting. He catches her in the process of transforming, and a brief standoff ensues, which ends with them conversing that night. When she learns of the tadpole, she immediately wants to join, knowing Halsin hasn't shown up for days and that she knew he was going to investigate the tadpole.
She is best friends with Astarion.

Thessia Viln'elle

Backstory:
Thessia was a travelling poet who came to Elturel right before the Descent. They were, in fact, part of the party of adventurers who was sent to save Elturel. While in Elturel, they and Zevlor rallied the tieflings to fight against the Hells. They stay with the tieflings, travelling to the conclave, and is the main diplomat for the refugees in the camp. They are taken witha Halsin, and so when the party comes to the grove, they help soothe tensions and offer their services to the group and stay after Halsin pledges his services to the group.
Many nights at camp, they can be seen talking to Volo, helping Gale with his poetry, or singing around the fire.
She sounds like Vivienne from DAI when I imagine her saying anything.
