"Hello," a loud, pre-recorded, over-excited voice boomed over the speakers, "and welcome aboard the Disney Magic! Our staff hopes that you have a magical cruise!"
"I swear to f.uck if that intercom says that f.ucking sentence one more time--"
"Lennon, calm down. We've literally been on the cruise for five minutes and you're already being a little b.itch."
It was my first time meeting Lennon in real life. We had both already let out our squeals and cries before boarding, and at this point, I was slowly adjusting to her attitude.
"I'm your little b.itch. So, where the f.uck is our room?"
This would be a perfectly rational question if we weren't in the f.ucking elevator.
"Deck seven," the speakers boomed.
"That f.ucking intercom voice is so annoying, I can't-"
"Lennon, please. Let's just find the room."
We stepped out of the elevator and quickly ran down one of the many hallways.
"How do you know that we're going the right way, Arielle?"
"I don't."
Lennon shrugged her shoulders,
"Fair enough."
I looked down at my room card and read that our room number was 1975.
"Stop walking, Lennon, it's right here."
"No, Arielle. I think it's down here-"
"Lennon, stop. Our room is right here. I'm literally standing in front of it."
Heaving a sigh at her persistence, I ran up to where Lennon had stopped walking and looked at the sign on the door.
"Lennon, that's the bar."
"Home," she whispered.
"No."
"Yes, and I am pretty sure this is where my stay will take place. All day, all night. Jack and I together, enjoying our dramatic romance: falling in love aboard this ship." She proudly grinned. "Get it? Jack?" I stared at her. "Like Jack Daniels but also from Titanic." I didn't laugh. "Because we're on a boat, Arielle. It's funny. Laugh, motherf.ucker."
I sighed and dragged Lennon back to our room.
Lennon suddenly made an inhuman noise. I turned around to see her gripping the wall as she stared at the number on the door.
"Arielle, we're in room 1975. You know what that means?"
"Lennon, please don't."
Lennon smirked and giggled slightly.
"Lots of puns and references, Arielle. I suppose we might as well just f.uck, right?"

As I finished unpacking my final bag, I turned around to see Lennon in her bikini, and of course, with all her things still to be unpacked.
"Lennon, what the hell--"
"Let's get some mimosas up in this b.itch," she stated, throwing her arms up.
"It's 10:00 in the morning, Lennon. Why--"
"I'll meet you by the pool, babe."
Lennon blew a kiss at me as she walked out the door. That b.itch.
Groaning internally, I put on my bikini and picked up a map from the desk in our stateroom. Opening the door, I almost fell back when a saw a flash of green rush past me.
