Who Needs Enemy's When You Have Friends

I hear my alarm and I wake up, I roll over and I shut it off. It was Taylor's end of summer party and I am so excited. The party started at 11 and it was 8. I quickly got in the shower and I put a bathing suit and a cute sundress on. I don't know why I put on a bathing suit since I wont go in the water but I do anyway. I grab my phone, wallet and my keys, I hop into my car and I drive over. I get out of the car and I walk up and I ring the doorbell, the door swings open and she pulls me in for a deep kiss. Once it gets too hard to breathe we pull apart and we both smile.

"I really hope you aren't going to greet everyone like that."

"I wont. Just you." I smile and she kisses me again. "You look beautiful."

"So do you Tay." We go inside and I help her finish setting up for the party. Soon enough people start coming in the first to arrive where Selena and Cara. We all hug each other like we didn't just have dinner together a couple days ago.

"I miss you Darling" Cara says to me and I smile

"I miss you to Cara"

"What about me?" I hear Selena whine and we start to laugh.

"Don't worry Selena, I miss you too."

"Yay" she perks up really quickly wiping the fake pout from her face. I always feel comfortable with Cara and Selena, there were a couple of her friends who have made me feel uncomfortable. Soon enough the party was in full swing with music and dancing and chicken fights in the water. Me and Taylor are sitting at the edge of the pool watching as Cara and Selena try to take down Zane and Hailee. Cara and Selena go down and we all laugh.

"It's all the training from Hawkeye right." I say and Hailee looks at me and she laughs.

"Are you sure Y/n or is it that Cara is just weak?"

"Y/n tell Hailee that no matter how much training she does she will never be as cool as me." Cara puffs out her chest and puts her hands on her hips and does a super hero pose.

"Yeah but you're pretending to be a superhero while Hailee really is one." I hear a gasp and I look at Cara with her hand over her heart.

"Thank you Y/n"

"Always Hailee." I lean my head on Taylors shoulder and she kisses the top of my head.

"I'm glad that you're having fun."

"I am always having fun when it's with you."

"A'right with those buttheads out of the water and the entertainment is gone. I'm gonna go to the bathroom really quickly, alright pretty girl."

"Alright Tay" She gets up and she walks inside. I walk over to Gigi and Camilla to talk to them for a while. I see Karlie looking at me with daggers in her eyes, I try to shrug it off while talking to them.

"So how's the book cafe going?" Gigi asked

"It's actually going really well. I was thinking of opening a second location but I can't seem to figure out the next perfect spot. I feel like maybe one in Brooklyn. I just can't seem to pinpoint where in Brooklyn."

"I had this lovely apartment in this small neighborhood by Prospect Park and I know that there is no cafe over there and the next book store is about a 20 minute walk." Camilla said

"You know I might just have to check that out. I'm just worried it might get a little too busy cafe wise and that it might get too much for the people who are trying to work or read there."

"Y/n right. Even if it's a small community it would still get really loud because of the park." Gigi says

"But I don't want it too far in the middle where there's no foot traffic either. That's why it's taking me so long to pick a spot."

"You could always open one in LA"

"That could be a cool experience opening another cafe right on the other side of the coast. And it's not like I'm never in LA anyway." I feel a pair of arms around me and all of a sudden my entire body is cold, as my body hits the water. What felt like hours, a pair of arms grabbed me and I went up to the surface. I am gripping on to the other body for dear life. Everything is in slow motion and all the sounds are muffled, my eyes look around and I see Zayn looking incredibly guilty with Selena and Cara yelling at Karlie. I should have known it was her idea. I look up to see Hailee holding on to me, completely soaked again after diving back in the water. The sound comes back as I hear Taylor's voice come through my ear drums.

"What happened?"

"Someone thought it was a good idea to toss Y/n in the water." I hear Hailee say and I watch as Taylor walks over to her and she slaps Karlie across the face. Zane gets up and he walks over to me.

"I am so sorry Y/N I didn't know. I'll go if you want me to." I shake my head no and he nods his head. Taylor walks over to me and she gives me a small smile.

"Wanna go change?" I quickly nod my head and she smiles. I wrap my arms around her and she carries me inside. We walk up the stairs and into her bedroom, she goes through her closet until she finds something for me and now she has to change because she is wet from carrying me. We quietly change and we both sit on the bed. "What happened?

"After you went inside I was talking to Gigi and Camilla about opening a second shop and all of a sudden I was in the water."

"I am so sorry that this happened to you. I honestly didn't think that this would happen."

"It's alright Tay, it's not your fault. Not everyone will like me. To be honest I should have known she would try something she was glaring at me before it happened."

"Baby why didn't you say anything to anyone."

"I didn't want it to seem like I was trying to push her out. I know you guys had something and I know that you moved on and she should have moved on, I mean she just had a kid. But that woman hates me like I stole you from her."

"Next time if any of my friends or anyone period makes you uncomfortable, tell one of us. You know you have Cara, Selena, Hailee, Gigi and Camilla on your side. You also have me on your side and I don't ever plan on leaving your side."

"Alright"

"Do you want to go back to the party? You don't have to."

"I wanna." she kisses my forehead
