"Jane! Isabel! I want you two to try my arepas." Alba announced, quite literally dragging her two granddaughters into the kitchen, their backs facing the rest of the house. She practically shoved the food into their mouths, distracting them both from the fact that a half naked man was sneaking out of their house, Xiomara hot on his trail to make him leave quicker. "Are they spicy enough?"

Jane struggled to keep her composure due to the heat. "I think these arepas are plenty spicy."

"Agreed." Isabel nodded, continuing to pick away at the food.

"Have some more." Alba pushed the arepa back to her. "You're eating for two now."

"Uh-uh. I have to go to work now." As Jane went to turn around, Alba reacted quickly, pulling both Jane and Isabel into a tight hug, giving the man just enough time to escape.

"I love you, mis amores."

Isabel furrowed her eyebrows as she moved away from her grandmother's arms. "Are you feeling okay?"

"I'm just so grateful you two are nothing like your mother." Alba grimaced as her daughter walked back in the room, now rid of Rogelio.

"Then again, Jane and I both ended up unmarried and pregnant, so you must've really pissed the Big Man off. I'm sorry, honey." She immediately apologized to Jane. "I didn't mean it as an insult to you...just as an insult to her."

"We interviewed the employees, and nobody saw anything suspicious. It was clearly a crime of passion, which is why we need to bring Petra Solano in for questioning."

"No way. No. No." Michael shook his head repeatedly. "Roman Zazo was an associate of Sin Rostro." Isabel squirmed at the name. It had been almost a year, and she still couldn't stomach hearing the name of her wife's killer. "We're the closest we've been to this guy in four years. If we bring Petra in now, her lawyer's gonna start asking questions. It's gonna expose the whole investigation."

"No signs of struggle. It was someone he knew." Nadine insisted.

"Sir, she's not strong enough to push him out a window. What-what about the unregistered gun?" Isabel was too consumed in her own thoughts to even realize why Michael was pushing so hard for Petra. She knew how Michael loved Jane, and, quite frankly, she'd assumed that he'd keep the baby for her too.

"What- it wasn't even used. It wasn't even out. And whoever this was was having drinks with him. Two glasses were found."

"One without fingerprints."

"Because Petra wiped it down." She began to raise her voice, growing increasingly frustrated.

"Why would she wipe down a glass when she knows her prints are all over that apartment?"

"So her husband found out and he did it."

"We have no evidence he knew."

"Which is why we need to bring her in and ask-"

"Enough!" The lieutenant looked at Isabel, who was unusually silent. "What do you think, Villanueava?" Armstrong questioned, staring intently at the youngest detective.

"I lost my wife to this monster. If Cordero's right and this thing gets blown up, what did Liz die for?"

He bit his lip, puzzled on which side he should take. "I need to think." He paced the room for a minute before speaking again. "If Sin Rostro took out Zaz and he doesn't know we're onto him, we've got a real shot at the big bad wolf. But one piece of evidence comes to light against Petra, we're bringing her in."

"God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can't bear." The priest spoke calmly into his microphone, his eyes gazing across the crowd in front of him. "And when we are tempted, he will provide a way out so that we can endure." Isabel shifted uncomfortably in her seat. She hadn't felt comfortable in church since she was a little girl, and once she'd come out to her grandmother, she hadn't been pressured to go to church. Until today. Alba pushed hard for both her and Jane to go to church, saying they could relate to this, more than anything. So, Isabel went.

"God only gives us what we can handle, and sometimes that's hard to believe especially if, for instance, we find out we've been lied to by someone we trust." Alba whispered in Spanish to her granddaughters. Jane's face contorted as Alba spoke, but Isabel was still unsure how she was supposed to be relating to this. As the crowd around them started to depart, Jane stayed still, so still that Isabel had to snap her fingers in her sister's face to get her attention. Her head shot to Alba, and Isabel finally understood what she'd been missing.

"Me and Michael are going to have sex tonight."

"That is not something I ever wanted to hear." Isabel muttered in shock, shivering at the disgusting thought.

"Hallelujah!"

Isabel had missed the church afterparty, also recognized as Alba forbidding Jane to have sex and Jane leaving the house anyway. Instead, she'd collapsed on her bed, dreading the day that approached in the coming weeks. In fact, the only thing that had made her mind forget about that thought, even for a moment, was a little post-it note stuck to her bedside lamp.
