7:28pm.
After dealing with the four metahumans it was finally time for his hangout and-or date with Chat, and Kendrick under the mask was feeling good! No homework, no school and minimal gang activities. Our Violet hero is seen swinging through the night sky while it was illuminated by the white-lighted city he sworn to protect. He takes one final swing from his web string, flips mid-air and lands on a nearby building and perched on the ledges. "Ah, good evening Chicago. All quiet? Good, gotta head home for my uh...well I wouldn't call it a date. Unless she does. But why would Chat call it a date?" Violet-Spider would swing along as he kept taking to himself while playing his music via his wireless earbuds. "Well, why would I call it a date? We're just hanging out. Alone...together. Bah! No, no! It's just a hang out just relax. Relax! REALAX! I don't think that's helping." Violet-Spider would do one final flip in the air and land on the roof of his apartment building and spider-crawls to a window align to his personal bedroom. He slides it up and hops into his bedroom and yanks off his mask, but before had a moment to breath, he heard his moms voice calling to him outside of his door. "Kendrick? Is that you?" His heart skipped a beat as his door knob jiggles as his mother was trying to let herself in. "Y-Yeah! Hang on! I'm changing." Kendrick struggles to slip out of his spider-suit and you'd think the sweat would make it easier. "Just a minute! "C'mon!" Just before his mom opened the door, the struggling teen manages to peel the sweaty spider suit and stealthy sweeps it under his bed. "Mom! I was changing." Suzette couldn't help but giggle at her sons' attempts to cover himself. "Oh stop boy. It's ain't something I've already seen." "Mom!" Kendrick exclaimed as he lightly blushed. "Anyway, I know about your little date with what's her name?" "Chat? A-And it's not a date." "Right." Suzette walks to Kendrick's closet and browsed his clothes to see which outfit will make the man out of him. "And I figured you would need help picking out the perfect fit for the young lady and possible daughter-in-law~." Kendrick blushes harder as he couldn't believe the fact that his own mom just said "fit" to try to be hip and cool and she picks out an outfit. "Ma, I can pick out my own clothes." She pulls out a Polo Ralph collar shirt with a pair of khakis. "Oh nah. Lemme pick 'em out." Kendrick digs through his closet and pulls out a black hoodie, black pants, a pair of Black Patent Jordans and a Michael Jordan basketball jersey. He slips into his planned outfit and throws the jersey over his hoodie and places a smile on his face as he feels as he's hisself in his own outfit. Suzette scoffs at his choice of clothing. Even with her own knowledge of animals and street smarts, she could never fully understand the sense of style for people at Kendrick's age. "You kids." She chuckles as she steps up to her son and dusts off some of the lint and dust off his Jersey and hoodie. As she continues to dust and make some minor adjustments, she couldn't help but admire the fine young man her son has grown to be. "So handsome...like your father. He would've been so proud of the man you've become." Kendrick gave her a cheeky smile. Right before Suzette left her son, she gave him some parting advise. "Remember, no means no, keep your hands to yourself, be funny, be honest, and most of all...tell her she looks pretty." She smiles as she left, leaving Kendrick to grab his spider suit from under his bed. He's indecisive if he should bring it or not. 'Hm, should I? I mean, we are just hanging out but...something could happen.' He would eventually favor in bringing the suit by stuffing it in his small mono sling backpack. "Jeez, is this my life now? Can't even go out without thinking that something bad is gonna happen. Well, better to be safe than sorry." As he finishes packing, he steps into his adjacent private bathroom and glanced in his mirror to fix his hair and check his teeth for any signs of plaque. But to his relief and confusion, he wouldn't find any, rather, he would discover a strange blue glow reflecting off his white teeth. He uses his tongue to search for the source of the blue light, he would eventually find the bioluminescence in his inner-lip.
