Bell POV
I floated in the water loosing myself in a world of utter peace. All my worries disappeared in the water it was a whole new world. That's why I loved it so much.
Scott POV
I parked my car and walked inside the building. I put all my stuff in the locker room and walked into the swimming area when I saw her...Bell.
Bell POV
I stopped floating and placed my feet on the bottom of the pool and looked up and saw the guy who helped me pick all my books up. What was his name? Oh yeah Scott
Scott POV
What do I do? Do I smile? Should I talk to her? I feel like if I did she would make things awkward. I walked over and decided to talk to her. "Hey Eastwood" she smiled "hey Scott" "Do you come here a lot?" " I wish I could say yes but no I kinda just moved here" I shook my head "I'm sorry I feel so stupid" she giggled "Don't feel stupid" I sat there and kinda just stared at her. She swam to the corner of the pool. "Well Scott are you gonna sit there all day or are you gonna get in the water and challenge me to a splash competition?"
I felt so much more comfortable now like I could talk to her and not feel like a freak. I jumped into the water and rhe splash competition began. Of course I won but she sure did put up a fight. After an hour we just kinda sat there talking. "So how did you end up in Greenwood?" Her smile disappeared. Oh gosh of course I said something stupid. "Bell if it's personal you don't ha.." She interrupted me "no it's okay" "my mom recently passed away and my dad thought If we moved it would help all of us move on." "I'm sorry Belle" "no don't be truth is I don't want to move on I think it's good to remember" I smiled " I think your right" "Do you like to swim?" I asked her.
"I don't like swimming...I love it" she said giggling "I know this sounds cheesy but swimming is like my escape from the world when I'm in the water its like I'm protected from all the troubles of the world" I smiled and all of a sudden she forcefully grabbed my shoulders and dunked me. We stayed at the pool for hours I was seriously starting to like this girl.
