~flashback~
Ever since my dad caught me and Tanner during our little makeout session, he has made my sister stay home with us to report any bad behavior around the house. Once I bribed her with $20 that I stole from my dad while he was sleeping. We told her we would be playing 'who can yell the loudest' in my room and we told her not to bother us. For the most part it worked, until she came into my room to tell me that dad was home. I then had to give her another $10 so that she wouldn't tell anyone about what she saw.
Now, I had to deal with my dad, so I told my sister to tell my dad we were at my best friend, Lily's house. Tanner and I snuck out of my window and ran to her house. When we arrived, we found a ladder on the ground underneath Lily's window (how convenient).
We stood the ladder up and climbed through the window, into Lily's room. We never noticed until we were all the way into the window that Lily's mom and dad were sitting on her bed staring at us confused.
"Well shit." I mouthed to Tanner before jumping back out of Lily's window and Tanner did the same. Honestly, I wasn't sure if there was anything under her window, but I just hoped for the best. 'BANG! CRACK!' I hear as we both fell into a dumpster.
"Ahhhh!" I hear Tanner yell, holding his leg up.
"Tanner! Whats wrong?!" I asked panicking.
"I think I broke my foot!" He said with his eyes squeezed shut in pain.
"Fuck. Megan, I need to go to the hospital or some shit!" He yelled, seemingly out of breath. I jumped out of the dumpster and helped Tanner get out as quickly as I could. I put one of his arms over my shoulder as we made our way to his house.
"Babe, it hurts." He said biting his lip.
"Just hold still." I said laying him down on the couch, earning a slight nod from him. I had been studying how to treat broken limbs in my health class at school so I knew exactly what to do. I ran up to his mother's bathroom and luckily found some bandages and a butterfly clip. I sprinted back down the stairs to find Tanner watching Gossip Girl.
"You are such a diva." I said giggling and walking over to him.
"I know, when I'm older I wanna be a princess." He said in a high voice that made me chuckle. I bent down on my knees and slowly wrapped up his leg.
"You're a pretty good nurse, babe." He said wincing in pain.
"Thanks, but you should probably see a real doctor." I said finally reaching the end of the bandage and securing it with the clip.
"Okay, but can we at least finish our 'game' as you called it." He winked and I blushed.
"After you go to the doctor, we will talk about it." I teased making him sigh as I helped him up again. We called an ambulance as we sat on his front porch waiting for our ride to arrive.
"Do you really think it was a good idea to call an ambulance?" He asked fiddling with his bandages.
"What did you want me to do, call a taxi?" I asked teasingly.
"Oh nevermind." He said huffing as if I hadn't gotten what he was talking about.
The ambulance arrived and we crammed ourselves into the small space in the back. Tanner sat on the bed and I held onto his hand for the whole ride.
"So is this your girl?" One of the guys in the back asked Tanner.
"Yep, we have been dating for 7 months." Tanner said smiling up at me.
"Nice bro, she's hot." the man said to Tanner. Tanner's smile automatically turned into a straight face and slowly turned his head to face the man.
"Excuse me?" Tanner said in a daring tone.
"Nothing." The man quickly restated and looked over to his partner. This man had brown hair, brown eyes, and looked very familiar even though I had no idea what his name was. His partner had bright blue eyes and brown hair. I had to admit, both of them were damn good looking.
When we finally reached the hospital, the two men carried Tanner out on a stretcher to a room and I followed shortly behind them.
The one with blue eyes whispered something to the other and they both laughed. Tanner looked so angry. The last time I saw him that angry he ended up not talking to me for a week, but that's another story.
They walked up to a desk and the lady told them to go to room 145 and that the doctor would be in right away. She also handed them two name tags and they both pinned them onto thier blue shirts. I couldn't quite make out what their names were, but they looked like they said 'Cameron' and 'Mash', but I soon realized it said Nash, not Mash. I giggled as i thought of someone's name actually being Mash.
"What's so funny?" Nash asked me snapping me out of my thoughts. "Oh...um nothing." I said awkwardly as he turned back around and turned to the left into Tanner's room.
I smiled at Tanner as the boys were leaving, but I heard a voice behind me say that I couldn't be in there until the doctor said I could. I turned on my heels to see who was talking to me. Nash. "Ok, whatever." I said walking out of the door.
"So where am i supposed to go?" I asked sassily.
"Well, follow me." He said smirking. I followed him into a room that kinda looked like a waiting room, yet the lights were off.
"Can u turn the lights on please?" I asked politly this time. He didn't answer, all he did was shake his head and put his finger up to his mouth symboling me to keep quiet.
"What are we doing in here? Please don't rape me." I said jokingly, not thinking that he would actually do it.
