(Right now it's 2023 in the story, and you are 18)
"Oh my god." I say, as I look at my phone. The prettiest face is staring back at me. It's an edit of my celebrity crush, Bill Kaulitz. I've liked him for months after an edit of him came up on my fyp and now I'm obsessed.
Suddenly, my sister Lily barges into the room. "Y/N, MOM WANTS YOU!" She says, annoyed. "Oh okay I'm coming." I walk downstairs into the kitchen. "Hey mom, what's up?" "Oh hey sweetie!" She says, looking down at the food she's cooking. "I need you to go to the store really quick and get fruit for dinner, I forgot to pick it up." She says. "Oh alright, I will. I'll be back soon!" I say as I head out the door, grabbing my purse on the way out.
"It's kind of dark..." I say to myself. All of a sudden, I looked to my right and noticed an older woman, around 75ish. She looked like she was having trouble getting across the road, so I walked over to see if she needed any help. "Hello! I noticed you over here and I was wondering if you would like help crossing the street." I say, smiling. "Oh thank you sweetie. Yes please." She says. I grab her hand and help her across the street. "Thank you so much for helping me. I wanna give you a gift." She says. "Oh that won't be necessary." I say. "No, I insist please!" She says. "Okay."I say because I feel bad not taking it. "I want you to make a wish. What's something you really want. Even if you think it is impossible. Something big, like a miracle. Something like time travel, bringing someone back from the dead, anything." She says. I thought it was really weird that she wants to know, but I immediately knew the answer. "Well my biggest wish would be to date Bill Kaulitz in 2008 but I know that wouldn't be possible because it isn't 2008." I say. "That isn't impossible. Here," she says as she digs through her purse and pulls out a vile of some sort with liquid. "Drink this tonight. It will happen, but I'm warning you. Read the label." She puts it in my hand and as a natural reflex I look down at it. It's a weird substance. I look back up at her to ask what it is but shes gone. I feel a little bit uneasy as I finish my walk to the grocery store.
(After you get home)
I quickly went to my room after letting my mother know that the groceries were on the table. I wanted to read the label.
What the label said:
Time travel potion (2008)

- you must travel back exactly one year after taking. This is done by jumping off of a very high building
- only the person you are traveling for will remember you. Nobody else will.

I stare down at the label, wondering how this woman knew my name or how she got it down without knowing it. It's as if she knew I would be there.
I hear someone coming so I quickly hide the vile under my bed. My door opens and my mother is standing there. "Honey, are you hungry?" She asks. I quickly make up a lie. "No, I'm not feeling well mom." I say. "Oh okay honey, get some rest then." She says as she closes the door.
I have to decide whether or not I take it. On one hand I don't wanna get poisoned but on the other hand I wanna know if it's real. "Screw it, you only live once." I say as I rip off the top. I take a deep breath. "Here goes nothing" I say as I quickly chug it. I then lay down, and go to sleep.
