"RICHIEEEEEEEEEE!!" Beverly yelled, jumping onto Richie, Stan following close behind her, laughing.

"BEVVIE!!!!!" Richie yelled back, hugging her tightly and spinning her around in circles.

"It's been 1 day. You guys literally seen each other yesterday and you were on the phone this morning." Stan said, tapping his shoe against the white tile floors of Derry High school.

"Oh shut up Stanley. One day is too long." Richie replied, throwing his hand over his eyes and pretending to faint into Beverly's arms.

"Exactly. Why can't you be happy to see us Stan? Do you not love us anymore??" Beverly asked, placing a hand over her chest in a fake offended tone.

"Of course I still love you guys, but you can be a bit annoying sometimes is all." Stan answered, pressing his foot against the tile and taking it off a little quicker.

"OH MY GOD GUESS WHAT I JUST REMEMBERED THAT MRS.MCCORMICK TOLD MY 7TH PERIOD CLASS YESTERDAY!!" Beverly practically squeeled over the loud voices roaming the hallways.

"What did Mrs.McCormick tell your 7th period class yesterday, Beverly?" Stan questioned, slowing his foot down to listen to her words.

"THERE'S GONNA BE NEW STUDENTSSSSSSSSSS!! 3 OF THEM!! AND THEY'RE JOINING TODAYYYYYY!!" Beverly yelled, hugging Richie tightly, earning a giggle from him.

"That's cool!" Richie spoke with a smile on his face before hugging Beverly back.

Stan checked his watch,

"The bells gonna ring soon and I need to grab my things from my locker still, you guys head to class without me I'll catch up. Tell Mrs.Donovan I'll be late." Stan said, walking away in the opposite direction of their next class to grab his books.

Like he said, the bell rang shortly after and the large groups of students crowding the hallways died down.

Respecting his wishes, the two told Mrs.Donovan that Stan was going to be late and she didn't mind.

Richie wasn't really paying attention to the lesson, he had spaced out a while ago starring at the ceiling til a knock on the door brought him back to reality.

Mrs.Donovan opened the door, and Stanley walked in, Taking a seat next to Richie and the day just went on like it normally would.

Til 4th period.

The teacher, Mr.Tucker, had finished taking attendance and everybody was in class. Which led to the three friends, all an equal distance away from each other, to be confused at the knocking on the door.

Beverly brushed it off as the assistant principal, or probably another person who works at the school. Richie and Stan were both thinking the same thing,

'New student(s)?'

Mr.Tucker let the people at the door inside the class, proving Beverly wrong when three boys were revealed that nobody in the class had seen around before.
