Eventually Kwite came back into the living room after shouting at his alarm clock with Smoke following him before jumping onto the countertop, waiting for her food. Springtrap turned his attention towards Kwite, a bit wary of the green hoodie.

“You coming with me?” Kwite asked, raising an eyebrow at Springtrap as he did so, Springtrap just nodded. Kwite decided to pack some snacks like last time as well as leaving some extra food for Smoke just in case something happens.

“Let’s go then…I guess.” Kwite shrugged as he went towards the exit door with Springtrap following.
It was kinda dark outside, street lamps were lighting up the lonely paths.
"Not that talkative today?" Kwite turned to Springtrap.
Springtrap in return just shrugged as he turned away from Kwite, he didn’t want to talk to Kwite currently. He is far too uncomfortable.

The two made their way to the restaurant again, this time Alex wasn't there so Kwite just shrugged and went inside the restaurant.
"You gonna be walking around again?"
Springtrap nodded, as he stopped outside of the office before turning around and going somewhere else as Kwite entered the office.
"Bye, I guess." Kwite shrugged as he turned towards the cameras.

"Wow this is boring like always!" Kwite said as he munched on the snacks he brought, "I mean sure this place is filled with killing machines but they don't do much."

A child's laughter made itself present which made Kwite look around but there was nothing to be seen in the office.

"Oh, it's haunted." Kwite shrugged as the laugh repeated. Kwite slowly stood up and looked around the empty office again.

"Why?"

… "What?" Kwite asked in a confused tone, tilting his head.

"Why did you befriend him?"

Befriend? Is it talking about Springtrap?
"I…Who are you?"

"An innocent soul he killed. Now, answer my question."

Killed? No, no, no he surely wouldn't kill. Sure he is an animatronic-human thing but he wouldn't kill…Right?
"I befriended him because I can." Kwite replied in a slightly shaky tone, he didn’t know what was talking to him. He would be less scared if he knew what was talking to him.

"But he is evil! He doesn't care about anyone! Not us, not his friends, not his family, not you either!"

Well, you are not him, how would you know?
"So what? He saved me twice, the least I can do is be nice to him!"

"He is manipulating you."

No, he isn't.
"Just go away, you annoying whatever you are!"

Silence.

"Finally." Kwite sighed as he sat back down in his chair. Who even was that or what was that? Will that thing come back?

Is Springtrap really a killer? No, he can't be. He just can't, right? He can't be manipulating Kwite, he just can't. What if he is? What if he is a manipulating killer who wants to bring nothing more than pain?
No, no, no…Stop. Please...
What if he is stuck in the restaurant because of karma? What if he-
"Shut up!" Kwite yelled as metallic footsteps were heard. Kwite slammed the left door shut as he was just purely annoyed now, "He is my friend , I can trust him."

Kwite sighed as he leaned deeper into his chair, tired. Can he just leave now? Sure it is only 0:30 but who cares if he leaves?

"No, I'll stay, it's easy to go through the night even if it is boring." Kwite thought more about the words of that thing before shaking his head and forgetting about them.

Wait a second, why are the animatronics even that aggressive at night? Aren't they supposed to be kid-friendly? Why are they trying to kill?
"Maybe they are possessed." Kwite made a random assumption out of boredom, "Or they were programmed like that."
But why would they be programmed like that then?
"Because why not." Kwite replied to himself.

Kwite then went quiet, he just wanted to end the night quicker so that he could just go to sleep and relax. But no, he had to stay here till 6-fucking-am just to go home.
Kwite sighed tiredly, "I can do this. I did this twice, I can do this for the third time…" Kwite muttered under his breath, "I just need to sit here, watch over the robots and that's it…"

What's the point?
"To earn money."
Is that all? No other reason? You could've picked a job anywhere else other than here.
"But I didn't."

Why? Because this job is the closest to you? You are that lazy you would pick an unsafe job rather than walk a few minutes more?
"...Yes, I am that lazy." Kwite sighed again. He was tired, tired of everything. Those fucking animatronics, that green robotic hare, this job.

Everything.

Kwite breathed in and out to calm himself down, he wanted to cry but he wouldn't dare. Not here where all those stupid animatronics are or where that green hare can appear out of nowhere.

"Why? Why am I here? For money of course but why am I staying here out of all places? Why can't I just get another job?..." Kwite spoke to himself, quietly in case anyone was listening.
"Am I truly just too lazy to get another job? Or is it something about this job?"

A little ding emitted throughout the office room.
2:00am

"2 am? Did I just not hear the previous dings?" Kwite raised an eyebrow before shrugging, "Eh, maybe I did."

Kwite spun around on his chair while occasionally checking the cameras for any bloodthirsty animatronics making their way to kill him.
"This is kinda easy." Kwite leaned back into his chair, "Too easy… And boring."

Kwite's mind wandered back to the thing that talked to him, "Who was that? It was a ghost, well, a soul if that makes a difference. But still, who was that?" Kwite thought for a moment.
"Hm, if this place is haunted then something must've happened here, I might need to look into the backstory of this restaurant…I am so smart." Kwite said with a smug tone.

"Detective Kwite is gonna figure this out!"

"Yes, find out about this place and free us."
