entomophobia (part 1)

Thalassophobia

After a while
Walking in the dark hallways
He hears what sounds like water splashing in the distance
He arrived at the end of the hallway and
He then opens a door

Behind the door is a massive sewage system, the stench there is absolutely disgusting

The only thing for him to actually walk on is a narrow pathway over the water, only a meter wide, good thing there were handles on the side of the walls for him to actually grab on to not fall into the water,
The sign next to it says
"Deep waters. 50m deep"
Surprisingly deep for a sewage system.
He looks into the water, there were glowing patterns showing faintly in the dirty black water,
The patterns move and ripple the water,
He looks into the wall, it was a giant worm about a meter long, it's black and it's teeth glow a faint yellowish white,
He looked into the water.. there were hundreds of them, he took a step back. Turns out they reacted and begin to glow brighter and swim faster in the water.
One leaped into the wall and missed him by a foot,
He stepped in the worm and it instantly died. Pushed it into the water and other worms begin to horde for the dead worm.
They must be starving for flesh...

He continues to walk on the metal platform and every step makes a small noise and vibration, constantly alerting the worms and making them glow brighter

Then, they all suddenly went crazy and jumping onto walls and some begin to consume each other, one of them latched into his shoulder and biting. It hurts, he yanked the worm off and crushed it to death.
Throwed into the water and the worms frenzy over the carcass.

Using this he used this as an opportunity to run into the other side,

The worms are going crazy and begin leaping.

He turned right and there were more.

He stayed silent in this one since they're not crazy at all.

He looked and there was an exit,

He walked and finally made it to the exit
