It was a cold night, and you were walking in the dark forest. You weren't in the mood to hunt for humans, currently.. but if you stumble across one, well you're lucky, since you haven't ate a human for like, days...

Suddenly, you feel the wind get a bit stronger, and someone's... a slayer's presence around. Could it be a Hashira? No, what would a Hashira be doing here this late at night? Pretty sure no demon attacked any nearby village, so there's no reason a Hashira is sent here. Maybe just to watch over..?

You held your scythe at your side, staying calm, keeping a straight face as you continued walking. The wind calmed down, which confused you. Well, the presence is still there...

You quickly turned, looking around for anyone, but there was no one. Then, you heard a twig crack, like someone stepped on it. You were 100% sure there was someone around.

"I know there's someone there. A slayer. Show yourself."

You blinked and your eye changed from a demon-like eye to a empty, dead type of red. You look more human now, but your skin is still pale, but that wasn't noticeable, because it was dark. Now you could just go and say you're another slayer.

"Show. yourself."

You held your scythe higher, looking around.

A tall man, with a muscular body and white hair appeared from the dark. The moonlight being the only source of light, making the surroundings quite visible. His body had many scars. He had a katana, and was wearing a uniform, but it was unbuttoned.

"A Hashira... what are you doing here?" You squinted your eyes and raised an eyebrow, still holding up your scythe.

"What are you doing here? Isn't it too late and too dark for a human to be wandering around in this dark forest? Or are you a demon..?"

This girl looks suspicious.. she has blank red eyes, and I can feel that she's not just any human...

The man looked at you suspiciously.

"No, I am a slayer. I was just taking a walk.. I was about to go back home." You spun your scythe and held it at your side, then turned away.

She's weird. A slayer? But her clothes don't even look like a uniform, and who's estate does she go to? Does she have her own house? Living in the Entertainment district?

You started to drool slightly...

The guy didn't have any wounds currently, but you could smell his blood... was he a marechi? (A: Is that what you call it?)

Gosh, I want to consume human flesh so badly right now...

"You should go back too."

You started to walk away and held yourself back.

Suddenly, you hear a faint sound of flesh being cut, and the scent of blood was getting stronger. It made you stop in your tracks.
