Yoo Joonghyuk shivered in the cold of the cells. Not even his regressor-self could stand it. Joonghyuk had been regressing in order to go and save Dokja after his first round, however, every single time, Dokja would either hate him or die.

The mistake Yoo Joonghyuk made in this round was dating Dokja. He had thought that if he kept Dokja by his side at all times, he would be able to save him. But in the end, Joonghyuk ended up betraying his lover by arranging a marriage with someone else to keep him safe.

"Damn. Why the hell did I make this mistake... was it- no. Should I just regress? God. What the hell should I do now..." he said, looking up at the small barred window that was above him. Maybe he could escape and-

"His majesty has called for you. Go to his bedroom chambers immediately." Someone said. A royal guard swung open his cell door.

"Very well. Thank you for your services." Yoo Joonghyuk thanked the guards half-assedly, earning a scoff from one of them.

As Joonghyuk walked to his ex's chambers, he thought about the past. He thought about when he used to hold and embrace him sweetly, how he used to smile and laugh with Dokja. That was all gone now. No one would believe why he broke up with Dokja in such a way that hurt both him and his now previous lover so much.

In no time, Joonghyuk reached the doors of the emperor's bedroom. But... what were those noises? He could hear light grunts and pants from inside his room...

He knocked, got permission, opened the door and saw it.

Kim Dokja- the mighty emperor and his past fiancee- was sleeping with another man.

"KIM DOKJA YOU-" He yelled at the uncomfortable sight.

The other unknown man scoffed, essentially cutting him off.

"Haah. Is that how you speak to his majesty? The glory of the empire? No wonder why he left you. Unfortunate." The strange concubine looked at him with undeniably contempt eyes.

Dokja continued riding the man, and looked as if he was in pure disregard of the conversation that was happening.

"Ahg... hnn...fucck, Namgoong... oh!" (Not the white haired dude in ORV.) He groaned loudly, making Yoo Joonghyuk's heart ache painfully. It was as if someone had just threw a hammer at his chest. It was worse than the Theater Scenario where Yoo Joonghyuk felt all his regretful pain come back. It was as if... their relationship, their friendships, their hardships, all of their experiences had never even mattered.

Yoo Joonghyuk closed his eyes. He breathed in deeply, gripping his sword, the very one that Dokja had helped get for him, the Black Demon Sword.

"I apologies for my rude behavior your majesty. Please excuse me, as I need to leave to my fiancee, Lee Seolhwa. Thank you." He replied curtly, and not waiting for a reply, he turned his back. Dokja, however, had a different reaction.

Upon hearing the name of his old lover's new partner, his face hardened. He paused and got off the other man.

"Thank you for helping me, Mr. Namgoong. I really appreciate it." He spoke cooly.

"Eh... no problem. Anyways, I'll be out of the empire for a long time. Here's a tip; try and fix things up with your ex in stead of making him jealous. He doesn't seem like a bad guy to be honest. What did he do?"

"That bastard- *sigh* nevermind. Have fun on your trip Namgoong." He shook his head, wearing on his sokgui.*

Little did either of them know, Yoo Joonghyuk had actually stayed long enough to hear the entirety of their conversation.

"So that's what happened..."

Footnote- A 'sokgui' is the under cloth of a traditional korean piece of clothing, called a hanbok. to be honest, I'm not sure what they are either. If someone could please help me with this, I'd be really thankful! (I searched it up on google.)
