Chapter 02

I stared at the person in front of me with a wide open mouth for a few seconds and ran into her arms to hug her.

"It's so unfamiliar to see you with formal attire,bish" she said while hugging me tight.

So, as you can guess, this is my ride or die Tasha, who flew out from our hometown for work about a year ago.She is a Curator in an Art Gallery.

"You piece of shit!you didn't even tell me you were coming,"

"There's no fun if i told you."

"When did you come back?"

"I was just coming back from the airport, dumbass.You told me you have an interview today here, so i came to surprise you."

"Ohhh, great, and now i'm surprised"

After arguing with her, we went straight (unlike me cuz i'm rainbow) to Tasha's house.Guess i'm gonna spend the night there.

Tasha and I had a lot to talk about because we gotta cover up a whole ass year worth tea. Although we talked over the phone it's nothing like talking face to face.

"So, any new crushes?What about that boy from.College?"Tasha asked with a playful tone.

"Ahhh nah girl he shows too many red flags..What about you girly?"

"Actually.........I have" said Tasha.

"Biiitchhh noo way, who is it?" I screamed my lungs out.

"WAIT...IS IT HIM?? That one right? That Creative Director?. What was his name again? " I asked in one breath.

Tasha was looking at me with a wide smile.

"He is Kade" Tasha siad while blushing.

"See I told you that you might be liking him.I knew it when you were talking in detail about how he talked,walked and smiled"

"Staawpp....It's just that i was confused about my feelings for him,it took me some time to realise that"

"Okayyy and now you know for sure So spill the tea girl!!"

"I told you how he rented a hall in our Art Gallery about 3 months ago for an exhibition of one his junior artists right? As I was the one who was incharge of that i got to spend time with him a lot.Even after the exhibition was over we talked over the phone and met a couple of times"

"So eventually I developed a crush on him" Tash was clasping her hand together with doe eyes while saying that.

"And guess what? When I told him I am going back to my hometown, he said he has some urgent work to do here as well.And we both flew back here together" Tasha said with excitement.

"Mmmmm...i see something coming up." I said with a smirk on my face.

"And you know what Al? He has worked with so many entertainment companies and He know some singers personally too...
Noah Cadwell is one of them"

"That's great.I am so happy for you Tash" I said while my mind flashed back to the moment that happened in the morning when i made eye contact with him.He was actually so attractive.

As I was zoning out, Tash yelled, "ALAN!!!What are you thinking?"

We went on talking for hours and hours and eventually fell asleep.

It's been a week since Tash came, and this whole week, i was with her doing this and that.Yesterday i came back to my apartment as Tash is meeting Kade today.

I woke up at my apartment. Since it's a Sunday, there are a lot of chores to do at home.I checked my phone to see the time, and Oh My God, there is a message from TX Entertainment Company.

"Hi Alan,
Congratulations on landing the role as Planning and Management Trainee.We are so excited to have you on the team.You can start working tomorrow.

TX Entertainment Building
3rd floor
Planing and Management Team"

I screamed, reading the message.First thing i did was calling mom to tell the news.Mom was so happy to hear that.

I decided to tell Tash later today because she must be getting ready to meet her crush.

I can't believe I am an EMPLOYED PERSON now..Can't wait to start working there.
