5: Afternoon Nap

(That picture took me forever, then I gave it to my sister cuz it was her birthday yesterday)

Now you have been working at the Daycare for 2 months now, and you have gotten attached to the Attendants. You always look forward to see them and are more happy than ever, some would say you had a Crush on them, but that's impossible... their robots they don't have feelings.... right? Anyways. 

Your on your way to work, this job pays well so you were able to get a car, not a brand new one just a used one. Its a Toyata Camry and its a gray color. You only live like five minutes from the Plex so it doesn't take long getting there. 

Once you arrive at the Plex you see the security guard, Gerry, patting everyone down. He never does that so something is wrong. 

"Hey Gerry what's going on?" He looks up to you and lets out and an annoyed sigh. "Higher ups want everyone to be patted down before entering the Plex for now on, didn't tell me why" You nod as he starts checking you. He nods your head singleing that your good to go. 

Its almost six when you get to the daycare. You push open the heavy doors to see Sun cleaning up a little. 

"Hey Sun, how was the night?" He doesn't answer, but you do hear him muttering to himself. Maybe he's talking to moon, he's been doing that a lot lately. You walk over and that's when he sees you. "Starshine! I didn't hear you come in" He picks you up in a big hug. "Yep I'm here, so what do you wanna do until the kids are here?" He puts you down and says "I don't know, maybe we can just relax a little bit, theres gonna be a lot more kids here today than usual." "Hmm, that sounds nice actually" 

You both go over to the theatre and sit on the floor, he puts on some claming waves that get rid of anxiety. Now this is relaxing. You both laying down by each other enjoying the silence between you to, until sun starts talking. "Hey y/n, did you think that you'll find love?" "I don't know Sunny, I never loved anyone before honestly, I did have lovers in high school and stuff but never really love love them I guess, what do you ask?" You say looking at him, he has his eyes closed looking up at the ceiling. "No reason really just wanted to know I guess" he answers. You still think its weird that he asked that but you don't ask any further questions. 

It's been about an hour now sitting in silence. The kids will be here soon so get up and look at sun, he looks like he's sleeping, do robots sleep? "Sunny you awake?" He doesn't answer. You just smile and head over to the daycare and start picking up some toys and grabing some warm soapy water to clean some marker marks and glue off the tables. Its soon eight o'clock and kids rush in, sun wasn't lying when he said that there will be a lot more kids than usual. There about 40 kids here, but you don't want to wake sunny. So you have to do this on your own for a little while. "Hey everyone there's a lot more of you guys so you guys have to work with me here, Mr. Sun is taking a nap so lets all try to be quiet please" they all nod their heads. And to your surprise they actually listen to you, they all are quiet, like they are whispering to each other. Then a little girl walks up to you and a boy. "Mx y/n, is Mr. Sun okay actually?" She asks. "Of course he's okay he's just really tired and need some rest, like you when your tired" you smile down at her, she then hugs your legs and so does the boy. "Hey I promise he will be okay, alright?" They both nod their heads, you crouch down and hug them and then some more kids hug you and soon 40 kids are hugging you and you fall on your back and start laughing. "Okay everyone let me up" you giggle. They all move off you and you then see sunny leaning on the door way to the theatre and with his arms crossed over his chest. You stand up and dust your self off and the rest of the kids head back to playing. You walk over to Sunny. "Hey how was your little nap" you ask but he doesn't answer but he is smiling down at you. "They really like you y/n and I'm surprised they actually stayed quiet with you." He says now walking closer you and crouching to your level of hight. And then hugs you, but not like his sweet small hugs though more like he appreciates what you did type of hug. You just smile and giggle and little, "okay sunny now lets get these kids ready for lunch" he lets you to and nods his head. 

A little while later you have the kids ready for lunch and Sammy takes them to lunch. You and Sunny start cleaning up and setting blankets and pillows for nap time. Your are cleaning the tables off when you feel sunnys eyes on you and you turn around. He looks away and you see a little pink on his face, is he blushing now that has to be the cutest thing ever. You guggle and turn back to cleaning. You then feel suns arms wrapped around your waste hugging you from behind. "Thank you y/n" he squeezes you a little. "What for sunny?" "For everything, you are the best and your really good with the kids" he's still hugging you as you turn around and grab his face plate. "Sunny honestly I wouldn't be like this without either of you, you guys make me really happy" you smile up at him and just snuggle into his touch. 

You both stay like that for a good minute or two. Then 40 kids rush in the room and you and sun let to of each other. And you go grab some moon drop candy and give one to each kid. Soon they all lay down and you turn off the light. Soon moon is by your side and you just sit on one of the tables watching the kids sleep peacefully. "You want one some day" you hear moony whisper to you. You look over at him and say "yeah I would but right now my dog is enough, and plus I only would have one with someone I know I love" you look at the kids and one of them looks like their having a nightmare, you get up and walk over to him and lay next to him and gently rub you hand over his arm and he starts calming down. You lay next to him for a while until you start feeling you eyes get heavy and you soon fall a sleep. Next thing you remember is a blanket being layed on you and you are out.
