My opinions on DRDT ships

Okay so I understand and I'm ready for all the hate imma get for this bc this ship is really popular so ready or not idk.

I personally really dislike this ship- and there's many reasons as to why first starting off with the fact like chapter one happened for like 1 week or so???? That's definitely not enough time for someone to fall in love especially with David literally HATING everyone- it would take a lot of time. For Xander even if the two were to fall in love or something it would take a lot of time spent. Xander idolizes David and that's all I doubt it's a crush aswell a deep admiration for stuff idk.

It just proves more about what I said about all Xander thinking about David is that he's his idol, or maybe a friend? At some point I'm not sure but yeah a "role model"

For David, in interactions must be most tiring when with Xander considering 1 his persona. 2 the fact he literally hates talking to people, to the point of accidently revealing himself to Teruko right here so he must be exhausted after talking to a fan, especially when social interaction is hard enough for him dealing with fans must be 10x more tiring.

Well right here even Xander recognized that he must've added stress right here lmao.

And right here about what I said "a few days" a FUCKING FEW DAYS. Ahem- also getting someone to believe they are special is a common manipulation technique or something around that lines and David's nice to Xander as much as he is to everyone else it's really nothing special and it's apart of his PERSONA.

And for this part imagine your complimented by someone you look up to greatly you'd be embarrassed or really flattered right? He's just flustered/embarrassed and don't forget the meaning of flustered- I personally think there's nothing romantic about this scene lmao.

David most likely dislikes his fans and what's Xander to David? A fan that's all.

Okay well David's secret- this is a huge reason

Xander would be absolutely heartbroken (if not six feet under) if Xander found out he wouldn't be like "I can fix him" or anything else people say- and Xander isn't "evil" like David he was most likely blackmailed into killing Teruko but that's a whole different story-

Imagine looking up to someone for so long, and something that cheered you up frequently, made you feel better, inspired, and then finding out that was all a lie. And Xander hates liars, therefore if Xander was alive he would probably become something like Teruko maybe not but still he would be crushed, untrusting, and both hurt and mad at David.

Even if Xander liked David it would be completely one sided in my opinion.

And David would take a LOT of time to warm up to someone considering his real personality

And I extremely highly doubt Xander would welcome David's real personality in with open arms bc of the last paragraph I did so yeah
