Chapter 1: Raditz Attacks!!!

POV: Hell Fighter 17

The duplicate android looked down upon the grassy edge of the island. There, lying on the ground defeated, were two of those strange clones that he saw. one of Vegeta, and one of his target: Goku. Above them stood four figures, which he recognized as more androids. The large one, 16, seemed to be complimenting the smaller blonde one, 18, on her strength. Something about a "link ratio." Next to them, he saw his prize. Android 17. The one he was created to fuse with, to become the ultimate android. His destiny was right there in front of him, his guard down, ready to be absorbed. He was just about to jump in to claim what was rightfully his, before something seemed to draw the group's attention. Another android, whom he heard designated as "21," was standing over the bodies, heavily panting.

"Huh, what's up with her?" The duplicate thought to himself. No amount of preparation, research or data could have prepared him for the next words that came out of her mouth.

"Looks... so yummy..."

"What the FUCK?" Pure confusion now ran through his mind. "This bitch eats people!? I knew the already existing androids were an odd crowd, but this!?"

He was snapped out of his thoughts by a scream coming from that same woman, 16 now standing over her. A moment later, they took off. He had already stopped listening to them. However, he wasn't going to let his purpose get away from him. So he followed them, at just a distance to not be noticed by them. Along the way, he witnessed more odd occurrences with the one called 21. "The hell's her deal?" He thought. "It's almost like she's trying to keep something suppressed."

He followed them a while longer. As much as he wished to stay covert and capture his prize undetected, he had come close to being spotted a couple of times by the larger one, 16. Eventually, he realized a full-on confrontation was inevitable. However, he also realized that as he was, he likely wouldn't be able to take on all of them at once. So, he chose to bide his time a bit longer. He fired one quick blast in their general direction, not with the attempt to kill or even harm, but simply to distract. The blast struck the ground and created a smokescreen, and the duplicate managed to slip away in the panic. Unbeknownst to him however, 16 had detected him while he was fleeing, though he was unable to make out a clear shape, and thus while his existence had been discovered, his identity was still secret. The menace could tell where their destination was simply from the direction they had been heading, so he decided to get a head start to reach it first, and potentially absorb the energy of some fighters and clones while he was there. He needed to build his strength. Then he would crush them, and take his prize.

"Soon, Android 17." he said out loud to himself. "Soon, we shall become one, and the ultimate android will be born. Son Goku will die this day. I don't care how many people need to die, he will be one of them!"

POV: Android 21

"What was that!?" 18's shout could be heard by everyone in the dust cloud. A dark, purplish blast sparking with red electricity had just struck the ground beneath them, the explosion creating a large cloud of dust, sending everyone into a panic.

"Damn! Is it an ambush!?" Android's 17 frustrated tone was evident to them all. But something else was going through the mind of Android 21. Worry. Confusion. Fear, even. The clones were powerful yes, and theoretically something like this would be no trouble for them. The problem is, none of them would ever think to do this in the first place. None of them were ever made to be this smart or non-confrontational. They were all brutish killers, made only to destroy. So what the hell was attacking them? Was it one of the villains, who had been mysteriously revived without warning? Was it one of the earth warriors, and had they been found? Or was it something else? However, she didn't have time to dwell on it, as something else was attempting to take advantage of the chaos.
