((Y/n's) POV)
Today, me and Jada are meeting at the 'Emik's Diner©' to discuss Luke's birthday. "Were almost there, right y/n?" Luke says holding my hand "Yep, and your friend Finn should be there too." I say looking down at the happy little boy.
Continuing our walk for another five minutes we reach the dinner. We enter the dinner and walk over to Finn and Jada. Finn and Luke sit in a different booth than me and Jada. "Hay n/n!" Jada says hugging me and then sitting back down. "Hay Jada, how's life?" I say jokingly, sitting across the table from her. "Oh, you know, going..." she says gesturing and limping her wrist. [you know, she did the💅]
"I feel that." I respond as the waitress comes over with a note pad "Hello! And welcome to Emiks Dinner, what can I get cha'?" as I and Jada order a guy in a white hoodie comes into the dinner and sits at a table that's about two tables from us. "wonderful chose, ill be back shortly with your order!" "Thanks!" Jada says and she walks off "She's hot, what do you think?" Jada says not taking her eyes off the waitress. "earth to Jada." I say waving my hand in front of her face "Huh? Oh, sorry!" she says folding her hands in her lap.
"off to Luke's birthday, what should we do?" "party at my house? Sounds tame enough." I respond pulling out my wallet to pay for my drink. "Sure, I'll get the snacks and drinks, you work on getting the cake?" she says pulling up her phone "I can bake the cake." Jada looks up from her phone and stares at me with a 'what-the-fuck-are-you-thinking' face. "what? I can." "yeah burn the house down, it's what you did in baking class..." "That timer was fucked up." I say objecting "Sure y/n." she says looking back down at her phone "Fine, ill find a good cake."
Just then the waitress came back with our drinks "Hello we have your order. when you are finished just leave the money under the bill, enjoy." She said as she bowed her head and rushed off to the next customer. "so how about party games?" Jada says taking a drink of her iced coffee. "I don't know, nerf-guns, other soft things like that? Oh, Luke is into dynos!" I say taking a sip of my drink . "toy dynos, got it." She says taking notes.
After a good hour at the dinner, Finn had to go home and Luke got bored so we called the meeting and headed home. Arriving home our parents were sitting In the living room waiting for us.
