Damian was getting ready for the quidditch game. He had an important match today, with Slytherin facing off against the Hufflepuff team. His team was determined to win this one. The Gryffindor Quidditch team had already managed to beat them once, and Damian didn't want to let that happen again. He was on fire today, totally focused on winning. He threw his robes over his arm, then grabbed his broom and headed towards his teammates.

"Are you ready, Damian?" asked his captain, Deuce Kane.

"Of course I'm ready," Damian said. "This is a huge match, and we're going to win it."

"That's the spirit," Deuce said. "Let's go." He gave his fellow players a nod. "Let's show those Hufflepuffs what real Quidditch is all about!"

The seven members of the Slytherin team lined up, waiting to enter the field. Once everyone was there, they mounted their brooms and flew onto the pitch. The stadium was packed with spectators who cheered loudly as the teams entered.

"Go Slytherins!" shouted one fan.

"Beat the Hufflepuffs!" yelled another.

Damian saw Jon on his broom, looking around with a puzzled expression. "What's wrong, Kent?" Damian asked, "Nervous?" He smirked.

"No, I'm not," Jon replied, shaking his head. "I'm just wondering where Rachel is."

"Probably studying," Damian scoffed. "That's all she ever does." He couldn't believe that Jon was thinking about her instead of the match.

"Nah," Jon said. "I bet she's just running late."

Damian frowned, "You're probably right." He didn't know why he felt jealous.

"Good luck, Dami." Jon said, "But Hufflepuff will win."

"We'll see about that," Damian challenged.

"Ready...Set...GO!" The referee blew the whistle and the game began. The players flew around the field, trying to score points.

Damian flew around, looking for the snitch. As Damian flew around, he noticed Raven/Rachel Roth sitting in the stands. Her purple hair was braided and tied into a bun, and her dark blue robes were buttoned up to her neck. She had a book open in her lap. As she looked up, she saw Damian watching her. She gave him a small smile and a nod. Damian nodded back, feeling his heart skip a beat. He tried to ignore her, focusing on the game. The snitch was still nowhere in sight.

As he circled the pitch, he spotted Jon, the Hufflepuff seeker, flying close to him.

"Hey, Dami!" Jon called out. "What's up?"

Damian ignored him, concentrating on the game. "Hufflepuff's playing great," he told him.

"You really think you would win, huh?" Damian said in a mocking tone. "You're pretty confident."

Jon shrugged, "I'm just saying."

"You're just saying," Damian repeated.

The snitch suddenly appeared ahead of them, and both of the seekers immediately started chasing it. Jon was in the lead, and Damian was hot on his tail. They raced towards the snitch, neither one willing to give up. Damian was determined to win. He pushed himself faster, and soon, he was neck and neck with Jon.

"I'm gonna win this," Damian said, gritting his teeth. "Just you wait, Kent."

Jon grinned, "We'll see about that, Dami." They were flying closer and closer to the snitch, but the gap was too large.

"Give up, Kent," Damian said. "You've lost this one." He was gaining on the snitch.

Jon shook his head, "No way! I'm going to catch that snitch!" He flew even faster, catching up to Damian. They were now only a few feet away from the snitch. "Just because you're good doesn't mean you'll win every time against us ," Jon said. "So don't get too cocky, Dami."
