Chapter 1

Family is...a dream

I'm so messed up. I hate myself. I'm my beater. I'm my destroyer. I'm my demons. I'm my harshest critic. I'm my own worst enemy.

The entire drive home, Shreyansh was in daze. In just 18 hours, his entire existence got flipped over. Gears in his mind kept turning and everything happened for the past 18 hours kept flashing like movie.

Restfully dying—unwanted savior—rescued—phyicho lady—and home Home?

A homeless, hopeless, raped, used, smuggled, and owner of multiple honourable terms by the world, such a pathetic. Oh darn, boy, you got a home?  Why would anyone want to adopt me? Not definitely someone who already has his peep's to count on. His mind was playing questions.

Many many questions.

'Mr.Braveheart, we reached!' He smiled, and Shreyansh twitched his lips in a smirk.

"Braveheart?"

'I wish I could sue you. Emotions pe kanoon ne law banaya nahi aur medical walo ne usi ka subject banaka ke bech diya. Bloody psychiatrist. I'll make your life hell out.' Shrey muttered, hopping out of the car, saying that, and Ekaansh sighed. His smile was doomed.

If there had to be one thing Ekansh Kapoor really took pride in, it was being in complete control of the situation, at least on face value. You can never look at him and tell if he is having a nervous breakdown inside or is too happy to describe. He had mastered the art of giving a fixed, calculated smile with soft eyes in any and every situation.

'shrey-ruk toh-' He took Ayansh hands in his. It was icy cold. The boy was shivering yet his-never -going-smirk. Just not leaving. Ekansh noted.

'leave my hand' his tried to free his his hands and Ekansh looked up, his eyes capturing hims. They were blank, void of emotions which didnt help Ekansh to lose his hand.

'They will not eat you Shrey.-'

'I am not good for you and your family. Simply disgusted person I'm. Please leave me.' He mumbled under his breath his voice hoarse and faintly audible. Ekansh guped the knot in his his throat but kept soothing his shivering hands, and gently put his hands on his chest.

He groaned

Why wouldn't he me alone?

"I'm charged guilty for my one patient's death. She was under the age of 18. Abb bata now your dictionary fits me as a good person, or it fits —me rot my rest years of life in the worst hell possible.

Bata Kya kehti hai teri dictionary,'  Ekansh replied back, looking intently into his honey-brown eyes and taking a slight step towards him.

Before he could process whatever had happened here, he turned around and pressed the bell, followed by Shreyansh yet again.

It took him about two minutes to understand the entire situation, and he did. He looked at Ekansh from the corner of his eyes. His mouth opened and closed according to his accord but nothing came out of his lips as he tried to comprehend everything. Taking a deep breath, he tugged at the hem of his sleeve and pulled him back.

'I'm not a kid. Who will buy into your absurd lies. And Well, you better brace yourself for the worst, Dr. creep. As I'll be your the worst hell. You ever seen.' He let out a hearty chuckle—not the intimate eyes or Shrey's voice, but what he had said.

'I'm. All ready. Humesha. Ekansh promise.' he couldn't help but closer to him and wrap in his arms. A fresh tears rolled up drenching his shirt. He felt ashamed of himself being this weak.

Why my emotions are betraying me? Emotions hote hee behsharam hai.  In the end again I will left all alone. Then why the hell my heart is palpitating . Yeh Dil itna besharam kyun hai.

A voice made him confused, flying thoughts landed on earth, as his eyes snapped towards Atharva, who was about to choke him from his over-happiness.

'Woah'
