it's been one week since you officially confirmed your relationship with gracie. you guys were secretly dating for a year and you never tell anyone, except your friends and family. now, everybody is aware of it and both your fans love your couple (even though they suspected you to be in a relationship).
at first, you were not okay with publicly exposing your couple, you were scared. because gracie started to get a big notoriety and you were frightened about your debuting career in the music industry. but your girlfriend keeps telling you that everything will be fine and that she'll protect you from hate.
so, you said yes, and both of your fandoms just adore your couple.
it's gracie's first concert since your relationship became public, and like she used to do for a long time, she organized a little q&a with her fans. she was happily sitting on the floor of the scene, dressing casually with a pair of oversized trousers, adidas gazelle and one of your tshirt. gracie chooses a fan in the crowd as the staff give them a mic.
"hi, how are you ? " asks gracie with a big smile.
"im fine thank you ! " answered the fan excited. "my question is how do you meet y/n ?"
gracie looks at the fan shyly. "oh, i didn't expect a question about y/n. but i gonna answer it anyway. hum, so i met y/n when i started writing good riddance and... yeah she helped me a lot with the album. y/n and i actually met in the studio where i recorded good riddance."
gracie looks at her crowd, smiling at her fans who look at gracie with stars in their eyes like your girlfriend makes them believe in love.
gracie asks happily "other questions?" a few fans raise their hands
"oh my god, it's hard to choose. hum, i gonna choose the girl with the cowboy hat on the right." says gracie showing the fan with her hand.
the staff give her a mic and she asks "hi gracie, my question is what do you like about y/n ?"
gracie hides her face in her hands, not showing the redness of her cheeks. the crowd started laughing at the singer's reaction.
"wow, it seems like y/n is more popular than me and she isn't even there." she says, chuckling in the microphone.
"i don't really know to be honest, i just adore everything about y/n. but maybe i like the fact that she also likes taylor swift as much as me." the crowd laugh. "but yeah, i like it when she is just super calm and plays the piano or reads a book, like, i just like her presence. y/n is just super calm i don't know how but she is. "
gracie flushed a bit as she answered the question and the crowd started to shout some "aww" as they saw gracie's red cheeks.
"i hope y/n won't get mad at me when i will be back home. please love, tell me i answer it right" says gracie as she was talking to her girlfriend from miles away.
a few hours later :
it was late in the night and y/n was still at the studio, working on her upcoming song. gracie wasn't here to help her finish the song, so she decided to distract herself by doing a live on instagram to interact with her fans. she debuted in the music a bit later compared to gracie, so her community is still growing day after day, and she is proud of it.
"hello guys how are you ?" says the girl while waving at her phone.
little by little, a few people join the live and, after a couple minutes, over 10,000 people are on the live.
"wow, guys! it's the first time that i have this many people on a live. thanks everyone." you look at the comment scroll on your phone screen.
"are you gracie's girlfriend ?"
"yes i am, since plus a year now."
"is that true that you met gracie at the studio while she was recording good riddance ?"
"yes that's true... how do you know that, we never say that, it's kinda scary," you say.
"we know that because gracie said it at her concert tonight !"
"no way! gracie said that at her q&a right? don't worry guys i'm not mad at her for this. i think it's funny. does she say other things ?"
"yeah, someone asked what she liked about you! her reactions to the questions were just so cute !"
"ow, i wish i could see her reaction... oh wait, let me check twitter for a second guys."
you go on your computer beside you on the desk, open an internet page and search for twitter on the search bar. you simply write, gracie abrams q&a, and go to the video section. you click on the most recent one and watch it.
"okay guys, i found a video of today's q&a ! i gonna watch it and you'll see my reaction," you say to your fans while laughing.
you click on play and watch the video. gracie was on the stage, sitting on the floor, listening to a fan's question.
"hi gracie, my question is what do you like about y/n ?"
gracie hides her face and the crowd starts laughing.
"wow, it seems like y/n is more popular than me and she isn't even there." she says by chuckle.
you pause the video. "wait guys, this is so funny. this is quite the opposite but I'll make her believe that i'm more popular than her." you say with a chuckle.
you restart the video.
"i don't really know to be honest, i just adore everything about y/n. but maybe i like the fact that she also likes taylor swift as much as me." the crowd laugh. "but yeah, i like it when she is just super calm and plays piano or reads a book, like, i just like her presence. y/n is just super calm i don't know how but she is. "
"i don't even know how i do to be this calm, even my friends ask me that. i also love your presence in my life gracie. and i also like the fact that you also like taylor swift as much as me."
you refocus on your phone screen and look at the chat. "thanks guys for telling me about it! this is just so cute. you know what? i think i'm going to do a q&a at my next tour. what do you think?"
