"Wake up, wake up Harry!" Harry was woken by the voice none other than his girlfriends "wh-what's going on?" Harry stuttered feeling vulnerable. "Only the fact that I won't see you for three months if you want to spend the last few hours before I leave in bed and not spending it with me that's ok" Ginny teased. "Okay okay I'm getting up" Harry murmured picking up his glasses and hurriedly changing before going down to the kitchen. Mrs Weasley had cooked up one last meal for everyone. "Harry dear we have to have a word" she smiled sweetly but turned an angry shade of red when Harry replied "don't worry I'll be moving out after we drop them at the train and I don't expect anything from you thank you very much" Harry thought it sounded okay but Mrs Weasley did not think so.
"Harry dear not what I was going to say at all actually I would be happy if you chose to stay" she stated. Ginny looked over to her mother and boyfriend wondering what they were talking about as they were out of earshot "actually I'd like to talk to you about.. Ginny" she said barely audible. Harry nodded. He knew it had been coming but thought Mr Weasley would talk to Harry.
"You two seem to be going very fast and I wanna make sure that your all in" she sounded near tears. As much as she liked Harry Ginny was her biological child. Harry nodded "of course I am!" He exclaimed not believing she'd asked him that. All she did was nod as she said "sorry for asking but er I did happen to hear about cho" she swallowed walking away.
Ginny was still tryna lip read but realised her mother had walked away. She immediately ran over to Harry "what was that about?" She asked in sounding like her mother. Harry shrugged not wanting Ginny to have a fight with her mother "just about me moving out. She said I could stay as long as I wanted but I have my own home now" he smiled at his girlfriend. She smiled back.
**It was all over. They were on the way to the station. Mrs Weasley was leading. Mr Weasley hadn't come due to work. Ron was holding Hermiones hand tightly not wanting to let her go especially now the war still fresh in his head.
Ginny was holding Harry's hand tight. She was pale. He held back dragging his girlfriend with him letting the others walk a bit ahead before he asked her what was wrong. She shrugged "going back there I don't think I can" tears spilled down her face. She didn't mean to let them fall but they did.
Harry pulled his girlfriend to him not knowing what to say "Gin I get you have memories with him there but just imagines he's at home running his shop and having a good time. Gin you'll be fine. I get it I do but I don't think your mother would be very happy if you dropped out, do you" she shook her head. Harry grabbed her hand as they continued to follow the group.
They arrived at 9 and three quarters. Harry grabbed Ginnys trolley holding her hand as they ran at the wall together. Soon after Hermione and Ron followed Mrs Weasley seconds after. Harry had no idea why she'd come considering they were all adults. "I know your wondering why I came" they all nodded. "Because I wanted to see my last baby off to Hogwarts" she pulled Ginny into a hug not wanting to let her go but knowing she had to.
Harry was next. He pulled Ginny in for a 10 minute long hug and whispered encouragement into her ear. By the time he let her go she forgot she was upset and smiled. Ron hugged Ginny tightly "be careful" he said as he let go. He'd already had his goodbye hug with Hermione so Harry gave her a quick squeeze "good luck" he said as they parted. She nodded smiling as the two girls walked into the distance and onto the train.
So ya it's not the end of the story but they're off to hogwarts for a while. 3 months. The next chapter might be them meeting on the first Hogsmade trip of the year at Halloween but don't know yet thanks for anyone who's reading.
